With the Zojirushi BB-CEC20, you can similarly use a delay timer to other bread machines: you press the timer button repeatedly to advance the time by 10-minute increments.

The maximum amount of time that can be delayed is 13 hours. If you press the button after 13 hours, the delay time will be reset to 10 minutes.

If you accidentally go past your desired delay time because there are no up or down buttons on the timer, you will have to start all over again.

To start the bread machine, you press the start button once more. The operation light will illuminate, but nothing may happen because the bread machine must first preheat the ingredients in the bread pan before it can begin.

If you want to cancel your selected settings or stop the keep warm cycle, you must press and hold the start button until the bread machine beeps three times.

Cleaning

This bread maker is straightforward to clean, which is a massive plus for any kitchen appliance.

The baking tray and mixing paddles detach easily from the machine’s main body, allowing easy maintenance and ensuring no food particles remain.

The blades are constructed from a tough, nonstick material that is easy to clean. The material has the appearance and feel of Teflon but is PTFE. That is the chemical composition of Teflon, but the latter is a trademark of DuPont.
