Its body is solid and robust, and it moves quickly. Given that this brand produces excellent small appliances in the mid-price range, I’m hoping that this one will last longer than two or three years!

It includes traditional mixing Beaters and Dough Hooks for baking, mashing potatoes, kneading all your dough, and whipping up a bowlful of cream.

Performance

Some things are impossible to make without hand mixer, particularly merengues and soufflés that require stiff or soft peaks. You can quickly invert the mixer to check the peaks when using a hand mixer.

This mixer is small but packs a punch and is incredibly easy to use. It was so much easier to use the dough mixer instead of the laborious kneading for over 10 minutes that we usually do. We began with a high setting and reduced the speed needed with one hand.

We started with the accompanying recipe book’s “Merengue Kisses,” which are merengue cookies with chocolate flecks. The mixer is lightweight enough that I didn’t feel any strain in my hand even after extended periods of mixing. The mixer is well-designed so that the power cord does not interfere with resting the mixer against the mixing bowl’s side. The meringues turned out beautifully. On the soufflé de chocolate!

The hand mixer was much more enjoyable for the children than the stand mixer, as the children can get much closer to the mixing bowl than they can with a stand mixer (I’m always nervous about the pinch points and sheer force of stand mixers). Children can even operate the hand mixer.

Cleaning

It works well and is easy to clean as it has a smooth, sealed base; it wipes clean instantly. Moreover, all components are dishwasher safe.
