Design 

Ninja DT201 Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fryer measures 17 x 20 x 13 inches, making it a hefty appliance. In addition to the stainless-steel exterior, the glass door features a black plastic handle that houses all the device’s electronic controls.  

This means that the product’s size is directly proportional to the oven cavity’s dimensions. In addition, it raises the controls to a comfortable level for the user’s eyes to see and operate. 

Performance 

The control panel is straightforward to use. It includes ten self-contained cooking functions that will get you up and running in no time, literally. 

The Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fryer DT201 performed admirably when air frying Brussels sprouts, chicken wings, breaded chicken, and homemade French fries but struggled when it came to frozen French fries.  

It roasted a whole chicken beautifully, and broiling burgers produced a satisfactory result. It performed admirably when baking a cake and cookies, and it perfectly reheated a frozen pizza. While white bread toasted evenly, bagels did not. 

The Ninja automatically enters a preheat mode for one minute and thirty seconds. Once the preheating is complete, it automatically begins counting down the cooking time, so you must have your food prepared before starting the preheating process.  

As is the case with all toaster oven air fryers, the Ninja includes a shallow air frying basket that allows for cooking a single layer of food at a time. While it did not receive perfect marks for homemade French fries, Panko-crusted chicken breasts, and chicken wings, it did brown and crisp most of them while maintaining their moisture and tenderness. It’s worth noting, however, that some pieces were dehydrated on the inside. 

Cleaning 

Regrettably, all of this excellent convection oven’s detachable components are not dishwasher safe. You’ll need to clean it with a sponge or abrasive brush manually. 

A black sheet pan was once placed inside the dishwasher. Furthermore, guess what? It developed a matte finish. Avoid making the same error. Clean the trays according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 

Pro Tips: Line your sheet pan or roasting tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil to prevent grease from solidifying. If you cannot avoid it, soak the tray overnight to soften the buildup of food particles.

Ninja DT201 Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fryer provides plenty of functionality, and its innovative design makes it the easiest to use of all the toaster ovens we tested.  

Although it will take up a significant amount of counter space in your kitchen, it is well worth it if you want a range that can serve you at every meal.  

It toasts bread perfectly, heats frozen pizza perfectly, bakes and roasts perfectly. Additionally, it features an air fryer, combining the functionality of several appliances into one.
