Design 

Everything that this oven offers is contained within a small and portable unit. Due to the small size and portability of this oven, you can easily place it on your countertop, ensuring that you always have access to a versatile cooking machine, even if your kitchen is small. 

Of course, there is one disadvantage to this design. This disadvantage is that you cannot cook vast quantities of food at one time. However, if you can look past that, this design is flawless. 

Performance 

Ninja Foodi DT251 has a minimal button layout, making it incredibly simple to operate. You simply need to become familiar with the proper rack placement for each function, and once you do, you’ll be cooking like a pro. 

The Ninja DT251 Foodi oven has increased functions over the previous Foodi range. This is a ten-in-one intelligent air fryer and digital oven that allows you to air fry, bake, roast, broil, air roast, bagel, dehydrate, pizza, and reheat in a matter of minutes.  

This 1800-watt cooking appliance features an innovative cooking system and an integrated thermometer to consistently excellent results. 

Cleaning 

The sad news is that the Ninja Foodi DT251’s accessories cannot be placed in the dishwasher. That is true, however, for all ovens, regardless of size. Over time, the harsh chemicals and heat will degrade or even damage the finish. The only way to clean those areas is by hand. 

Line the sheet pan with aluminum foil to simplify cleanup to collect the grease from the roast tray. That eliminates another component from the equation. 

The most challenging part of maintaining will be the roast tray. If you are having difficulty brushing away stubborn greases, soak them overnight. Likewise, the air fryer basket is not included.

If you are looking for a countertop convection oven with multiple cooking functions, we highly recommend the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Pro Air Oven. To my mind, it is even better than a convection oven.
