Nutri Ninja BL642 Personal and Countertop Blender
The Ninja BL642 is suitable for multiple uses. It has excellent construction and highly adaptable performance. It can be used to create delicious almond butter, delicious smoothies, and snow-like crushed ice. The main jar has a large capacity, and the three individual jars are all very simple to clean. However, it cannot be used to mix hot ingredients.
The Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ BL642 is a large blender. It is best stored on the kitchen counter or in a large cabinet, and the main jar can be removed for more convenient storage. The Ninja BL642 has an impressive level of craftsmanship. Even though the motor base and transmission are made entirely of plastic, they do not feel fragile.
Docking and undocking jars from the base is simple, with bright blue LED lights indicating which presets are available for the jar. The blender will not operate unless it detects a properly docked jar. The jars are made of good-quality plastic, but unfortunately, the suction cups under the motor base don’t seem to grip surfaces very well. Mirrored accents on the front of the blender are also susceptible to fingerprint smudges.
The main blade assembly of the Ninja BL642 is comparable to that of other Ninja blenders, including the Ninja Mega Kitchen System BL770. It is column-shaped with six sharp blades spiraling around it. Additionally, there is a second blade assembly for the individual jars. Both are dishwasher-safe on the top rack.
The Ninja BL642’s plastic lid must be aligned correctly to clip into place. A small pouring spout resembles a window, but it is not a two-part lid and is not intended for adding ingredients while blending.
The power cord of the Ninja BL642 should be long enough to reach a nearby outlet. On the back of the blender is a place to wrap the cord for more accessible storage.
The Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ is a versatile, full-size blender. In addition to its 72-ounce main jar, it includes three individual jars of varying sizes. You can use it to make delicious smoothies, almond butter, and ice that resembles snow. Its Auto-iQ feature detects the jar’s size, thereby altering the available presets. It is straightforward to clean by hand or dishwasher, but it cannot be hotly blended.
