The Lux electric pressure cooker allows you to cook food under high pressure for up to four hours and keep it warm for up to ten hours manually or automatically. The pressure release button is our absolute favorite feature of the DUO Nova’s user experience. This button is located approximately two inches from the pressure valve and enables you to open it without touching it.
Most pressure cookers make you timidly bash the pressure valve with a wooden spoon to release it. Thus, it is a welcome addition to have a button that shortens the process, makes it easier and increases safety.
While there were some noticeable differences between the pressure cookers we tested, the differences in cooking abilities mainly were minor. While we enjoyed the DUO Nova’s food, we gave the DUO Nova high marks in almost all of our cooking tests.
The Duo Nova has ten safety features, like any other model of Instant Pot: thermal fuse and electric fuse, overheat protection, steam discharge, anti-block shield, safety deck lock, detection of a lid position, leak detection of a deck, pressure control, and temperature control.
Cleaning

Our initial reaction to the Duo Crisp was that it is pretty large. This is definitely something to consider before purchasing. It would be cumbersome to leave on a worktop and require significant storage space with all of its components.
It has a sleek and attractive design, as well as a straightforward control panel. The Instant Pot Duo Crisp’s display is smaller than those of other Instant Pot products. However, it remains straightforward to read and use.
