Which Instant Pots Support Bluetooth? Learn Here

The Instant Pot is a multifunctional, one-pot cooking marvel that replaces kitchen appliances such as the pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, warmer, and yogurt maker. Nevertheless, which model has Wi-Fi if the Instant Pot is a versatile cooking pot?

The Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi 8-in-1 is Bluetooth-compatible with all smart devices and Alexa-enabled for voice control.

The Instant Pot, like all electronic devices, requires power to operate. The additional Bluetooth and Wi-Fi features and the appliance itself will not function unless it is plugged into an electrical outlet and the power is turned on.

This high-tech kitchen appliance can communicate with your devices or home network to provide added convenience for your home cooking.

Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi 8-in-1 Model

The Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi 8-in-1 model is a programmable multicooker that can be controlled from a mobile device and provides complete control over the cooking of a meal. From the palm of your hand, you can plan, cook, monitor, and adjust the progress of your meals.

The Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi 8-in-1 model is a 6-quart pot that comes pre-loaded with 13 one-touch cooking programs, allowing you to cook on autopilot and produce delicious meals quickly.

This size pot comfortably cooks meals for up to six people, making it popular among families and singles. The appeal of the Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi 8-in-1 model is the number of kitchen appliances it replaces. It’s a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, warmer, yogurt maker, and cake baker.

By replacing these standalone appliances with a single device that is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-compatible, you will save space and time in the kitchen.

Instant Pot Operation

The Instant Pot has the same unique operating features as all standard Instant Pots, with the addition of being compatible with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Alexa.

Manual Operation

On the front of the Instant Pot is a programmable, one-touch display that allows for home use. This will enable you to start your dish at your convenience and add ingredients as you prepare your meal.

Without the time constraints of pre-scheduled programs, this cooking method allows the hands-on cook to be inventive and creative with their ingredients.

You can use either the pre-programmed set cooking times or customize the cooking duration and temperature.

Bluetooth Compatible

You can install the Instant Pot APP on your device to access the Instant Pot’s controls and hundreds of pre-programmed recipes.

The application gives you full access to monitor the progress of your meal and sends you notifications as your meal cooks. Bluetooth’s only disadvantage is its limited range. To maintain a connection, your device must remain within the Instant Pot’s Bluetooth range.

Wi-Fi Compatible

Wi-Fi enables you to control your Instant Pot from a greater distance and with greater mobility. You can communicate with your Instant Pot using a Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phone from the garden.

If your home Wi-Fi network is connected to the internet, you can even control your Instant Pot while seated at your desk at the office. The Wi-Fi integration lets you turn on the Instant Pot and initiate the cooking process from anywhere. The controls are in your hands regardless of the device you use.

Alexa Compatible

Amazon’s Alexa is an innovative home system that allows you to link all compatible smart devices and activate them with voice commands.

It is possible to install multiple Alexa devices throughout your home, allowing you to control any Alexa-compatible device from any room. As long as the device is Alexa-compliant, you can command anything from your security system to your Instant Pot. You could be in your bedroom and command Alexa to turn on your Instant Pot in the kitchen, causing dinner to begin cooking.

With so many options for cooking methods, you should be able to prepare delicious meals every time without burning or overcooking the food.

The Instant Pot has ten advanced safety protection features that guarantee safe pressure cooking and provide peace of mind, mainly when operating the appliance remotely.

As you cannot see the appliance and may not be in the same room, safety devices that communicate with your device have been installed. The Instant Pot is intelligent enough to adjust and prevent overcooking or burning food.

These are the pre-programmed safety features:

  • Lid Close Detection: The Instant Pot will not activate pressure cooking if the lid is not present.
  • Leaky Lid Protection: If the steam release valve is not closed correctly or the sealing ring is missing, the pressure cooker will not reach the pre-set pressure level and will switch to keep warm mode to prevent food from burning.
  • Lid Lock Under Pressure: The lid cannot be opened and will remain locked if the container is still pressurized.
  • Anti-Blockage Vent – Vent designed to prevent food particles from obstructing the steam release vent.
  • Automatic Temperature Control – the inner pot’s temperature is regulated by a thermostat, which ensures that the cooking temperature remains within a safe range.
  • Temperature Warning: When the temperature exceeds a certain threshold, the Instant Pot will cease heating.
  • Temperature And Power Protection – A fuse designed to disconnect power during excessive high temperatures, excessive electrical current, or power surges.
  • Automatic Pressure Control: A patented pressure sensor mechanism maintains the correct operating pressure.
  • Pressure Regulator Protection – if the pressure inside the pot reaches dangerously high levels, the steam release will pop up to allow steam to escape and reduce the pressure inside the pot.
  • Excess Pressure Protection: If the pressure regulator fails to function, the internal protection mechanism will push the inner pot down, creating a space between the lid and the inner pot. The overheating will be stopped by escaping steam from the gap into the internal chamber.

If you are a tech-savvy, on-the-go individual interested in all-new toys and gadgets, then this Instant Pot is for you. It has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a technological device, plus the added benefit of being a popular kitchen appliance.

A further advantage is that you have access to the internet, which allows you to download hundreds of recipes directly to your app for use in your smart Instant Pot without leaving your home.
