Air Fryer BBQ Pork Tenderloin is a delicious barbecue meal without a grill! This quick and easy air fryer recipe only takes 20 minutes. Try and feel the pork tenderloin with brown texture while still juicy on the inside. Life doesn’t get much simpler!

How To Make Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

  • Combine well all dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Cut pork tenderloin and remove silver skin. Rub olive oil and spice mixture all over tenderloin.
  •  Place pork tenderloin in an air fryer basket, bending it if needed for it to fit. Air frying at 400°F for 10 minutes and flip half through. 
  •  Cook until it has reached the desired doneness. Internal temp should be 145° – 160° F. This will take 8-15 more minutes.
  • Once the meat is done, remove pork tenderloin to a cutting board. Let it rest for about five minutes before slicing and serving. This allows some of the juices to reabsorb into the meat and makes the meat juicier.

Tips

  • The cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of your pork. 
  • Remove silver skin: there’s a bit of sinew on the outside of pork tenderloin that ends up tough when cooked. You need to remove it before.

Storing Leftover Pork Tenderloin

If you have leftover pork tenderloin the air fryer works well for heating it up. To reheat you need to slice the meat into medallions. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F, add the pork medallions and let them cook for 3-4 minutes, then serve.

What Air Fryer Should I Use?

I used the Iconites 6-in-1 7-Quart Air Fryer Oven for this recipe. It has a very large capacity that will let you cook enough food for the entire batch of pork tenderloin. You’ll cook healthy meals using less oil but the same taste of grilling pork. 

This recipe will still work with other air fryers, but you’ll need to adjust the timing for the best results. And depending on the capacity, you may need to run it in batches.

What Size Air Fryer Do I Need?

Depending on your cooking skills and how often you plan to prepare meals, snacks and desserts, the larger air fryer may be the best option for your small or large family. Otherwise, please use this chart as a guide:

Put the pork tenderloin into the basket of the air fryer. If it doesn’t fit while straight, bend it a bit to fit it in.
