For the Pork Chop Suey Pressure Cooker Recipe, You Will Need:

• Can opener
• Slicing knife
• Small mixing bowl
• Pressure cooker
• 6 pork steaks
• 1 yellow onion
• 3 stalks celery
• 1 head of broccoli
• 8 button mushrooms
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 cans bean sprouts
• 4 tablespoons molasses
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 1 can Swanson chicken broth
• 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Preparation

• Cut pork into half inch cubes.
• Slice celery diagonally (thin)
• Chop broccoli into small bite-sized pieces
• Slice onion into long slivers.
• Slice mushrooms into small chunks.
• Add cornstarch to water in bowl and stir until dissolved
• Heat oil and butter in cooker with the lid off until it bubbles
• Brown the pork cubes on each side in the oil
• Stir in onion, celery
• Add mushrooms
• Add broccoli
• Add white pepper
• Add chicken broth, soy sauce and bean sprouts.
• Add the molasses, and stir
• Cover and lock lid on pressure cooker,
• Bring up to pressure on high and cook for 10 minutes
• Turn cooker down to low
• Cook on low for 20 minutes
• Release any remaining pressure and open lid
• Add corn starch into cooker and stir
• Heat with the lid off until boiling while stirring constantly
• Turn cooker down low (with lid off)
• Cook for 15 minutes and serve
