Best Blender For Acai Bowls

If you have seen those colorful and delicious acai bowls and the only thing missing to make them yourself is a good blender, then it is high time you purchased one.

What are the most effective blenders for acai bowls? A quality acai bowl blender has a strong motor and can effortlessly blend all ingredients into a creamy and smooth consistency. Other factors to consider when purchasing a blender for acai bowls include the jar’s capacity and material, settings, and ease of cleaning.

Our Top Picks

Why should you use blender for acai bowls?

If you’re looking for a quick, healthy breakfast option, look no further than the acai bowl. Acai bowls are packed with antioxidants and nutrients, making them a great way to start your day. And what’s the best way to make an acai bowl? Using a blender, of course! Here’s why:

  1. Blenders are quick and easy to use. Add all your ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth—no need for fancy equipment or complicated recipes.
  2. Blenders make it easy to get a smooth, consistent texture. If you’ve ever tried to make an acai bowl without a blender, you know that it can be challenging to get the right consistency. You can blend with a blender until you get the perfect texture.
  3. Blenders make it easy to add in other ingredients. If you want to add some extra protein or healthy fats to your acai bowl, you must add them into the blender with the rest of your ingredients.
  4. Blenders make clean-up a breeze. Just throw all your blender parts into the dishwasher, and you’re done! No need to worry about scrubbing pots and pans.

So, there you have it! These are just a few reasons you should use a blender to make your acai bowl. So next time you’re looking for a quick, healthy breakfast option, make sure to try the acai bowl. And don’t forget to use a blender!

How To Make Acai Bowls With A Blender

You can make acai bowls with a blender by following these simple steps:

  1. Start by adding the frozen acai puree to your blender.
  2. Then, add the other ingredients you want to include in your bowl.
  3. Blend everything until it is smooth and thick.
  4. Pour the mixture into a bowl and enjoy!

If you want to make a thick and creamy acai bowl, you can add in some frozen banana or avocado. This will make it even more delicious and satisfying. Enjoy your healthy and delicious acai bowl!

Factors To Consider When Choosing The Best Blender For Acai Bowls

Acai bowls have become a popular breakfast or snack option recently, and for a good reason. They are delicious, nutritious, and relatively easy to make. However, one key ingredient in acai bowls is the acai berry itself, which can be challenging to find (and expensive) if you don’t live in an area where acai berries are grown.

The other key ingredient in acai bowls is a good blender. Acai berries are very tough and need to be blended to make them into a smoothie or bowl base. If you don’t have a good blender, you will likely have a lumpy, uneven acai bowl.

So, how do you choose the best blender for acai bowls? Here are a few factors to keep in mind:

  1. Blade quality: The blades on your blender should be sharp and high-quality to blend the acai berries properly.
  2. Blending power: Acai berries are very tough, so you need a blender with enough power to blend them properly. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a lumpy bowl.
  3. Ease of use: Choose a blender that is easy to use and clean so that you can make acai bowls quickly and easily.
  4. Price: Acai bowls can be expensive, so choose a blender that fits your budget.
  5. Warranty: Choose a blender with a good warranty in case it breaks down or needs to be replaced.

By keeping these factors in mind, you can be sure to choose the best blender for acai bowls. With the right blender, you can make delicious, healthy acai bowls at home any time.

Love this blender. I received the blender in November and let is sit for a week before I opened it. It was very expensive and I wanted to think about it before I opened it. I am glad I did. We use it every day for smoothies and also make soups and salad dressings. It works great, and blends foods better then any blender I am ever had. It is noisy, but its a blender and you only need to use for 30 to 60 seconds or so. It was definitely worth the money for this family. If you don’t really plan on using it very often, then I would not get unless money is not an issue.
Great investment. I make my own feeding tube formula from real food for my husband’s tube feeding. No disgusting pre-made mixes with horrible and harmful ingredients. This is THE BEST blender. I wish I would’ve bought one years ago. Well worth the money. So easy to use and clean.
The blender is second to none. This blender is on questionably the best. Very powerful very fast. I’ve been using it for about 15 years now and I’ve purchased 14 of them as gifts to others all have very much enjoyed them. I use my daily.
Simple, powerful and built like a tank. What do I like? Over the past 50 years I have bought blenders, and this one is simple, powerful and sturdily constructed. What do I not like? That it is a blender. Sorry, I had forgotten how in the past I have bought blenders and then ended up not using them. But somehow I am seduced into buying one again.I was making hummus regularly, every three or four days, using a battery operated hand held immersion blender. I did not get quite the smoothness I wanted, it was not powerful enough, but it was compact and I could do the blending in the jar I stored the hummus in and was easy to clean. With the Vitamix I got smoother hummus, but that was only after interupting the process and using a spatula to stir things up – because without that the output had larger bits of chickpea skin that survived (I don’t want to skin the chickpeas). (With a hand blendeer you can move the device around to make sure everything is processed.) The cleanup with the blender is typical, but what I really dislike is the effort it takes to get hummus out of the container. I haven’t made icecream or sorbets, but how does one serve it without leaving a significant portion deep in the container or coating fluted walls that don’t lend themselves to convenient silicone spatula use? So conclusion is that the product is great but I don’t like countertop blenders.
Awesome. The Vitamix is awesome. Makes great smoothies and I got it exactly when they said.
Lightweight yet solid and powerful. Excellent for blending, grinds up ice easily, open cap hole with included plunger assures, when necessary, complete mixing of all products. Has a powerful vortex that draws most contents into the mixing process.CEK
Love vitamix…one caveat to this particular one. I’ll start by saying that I absolutely love my vitamix. It’s pricey, of course, but you already know that going in so no surprises there. So far, everything that I’ve used it for has produced superior quality than any of my other blender brands used in the past. Green smoothies blended to perfection, silky smooth romesco sauces and soups, haven’t tried salad dressings yet but I have no doubt they’ll be fantastic. The ONLY issue I’ve had so far is with the tall thin container. Really inconvenient to try to put on the counter underneath the cabinets since it’s so tall. It fits, but not with the lid on, which means I have to store the lid separately. If you have high cabinets or counter space thats not directly under cabinets then this won’t be an issue for you. However if your kitchen is like mine, i’d definitely recommend the fatter, low profile container. I really wish I would have gotten that one to begin with. On the plus side, you can always buy one… but for $100+ on top of the already steep price tag, I’m not sure the inconvenience is THAT inconvenient. With the exception of wishing I’d got the low profile container, this blender is definitely superior, and what I would consider an investment in your health. It makes homemade much easier and efficient, which obviously has its benefits. While the price tag might elicit a little whiplash for us normal folks, I don’t plan on having to replace it any time soon. And if you consider it an investment, it definitely makes the price easier to swallow.
Best Blender. I have had many blenders and have never been as happy as I am with this Vitamix. I researched (a lot!) before I purchased and although the cost is a bit more than most other blenders it is worth every penny we spent. I like chia seeds in my smoothies and no other blender I have had has the ability to blend them so well. It’s as if the chia seeds weren’t even added it’s so smooth, which I love. True height of the blending container creates a vortex, blending everything you put in it so smooth and creamy. It is a bit noisy, but I find most blenders are. We have only hand washed the blender and find it is easy to clean. Comes with a tamper which is used to mix ingredients. You won’t regret purchasing this blender even for the price tag
Of course for the price this blender should be excellent and I’ve found that it does everything that I need it to. Super happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend this amount on a blender.
Lemon Scent who sold this blender are a fantastic company, I was initially disappointed that this blender came with an American plug and chose to return it. But Lemon Scent bent over backwards to meet my needs, they will supply an adapter to use in a UK kitchen.I purchased a Vitamix blender many years ago and fell in love with this versatile machine. Easy to use and clean. Worth the investment for sure.Thank you Lemon Scent.
I love it!!I gave 4 stars on “Value for Money” only because I wish it was cheaper so that more people can afford it although the price I got through Amazon was the best I could find (especially if you can get free shipping with Amazon Prime) . But who knows, it might be more than a fair price – it depends on the manufacturer’s cost-profit ratio too.One thing that threw me off is that the container doesn’t sit on the main machine as tightly as is the case with a food processor. (Actually, it’s almost loose.) First I thought it was defective or the container was the wrong size! However, I quickly found out that it was all good —- I actually love the fact that I can place and remove the container so easily without using any force.
Sehr empfehlenswert
This thing liquefied everything I put in it. Makes super smooth hot sauces and soups.

Vitamix blenders are renowned for their professional appearance, and the Vitamix 5200 is no exception. This high-quality blender is ideal for use in a professional setting and includes all the necessary components for preparing delectable acai bowls.

Self-cleaning is one of the most outstanding features of this professional-grade blender. Add hot water and dish soap to the blender jar and let it run for 60 seconds to clean.

The 64-ounce container was created with commercial kitchens in mind, as this size is ideal for copious quantities. This makes it an excellent option for copious amounts of hot soup and multiple acai bowls. Visibly, the Vitamix 5200 is tied for the highest capacity.

In addition, Vitamix has included a beneficial tamper system. This will allow you to stir the blender’s contents and scrape liquids from the jar’s side without removing the lid.

The most significant shortcoming of this model is its lack of container options. Compared to the Nutribullet 1200 Watt, it is easy to see how good a variety of container options can be.

If you do not mind spending a lot of money and want a professional-grade blender, then the Vitamix 5200 is one of your best options!

Great for smoothies, easy to clean. Super product, works great, easy to use, super easy to clean. Strong and powerful, blends ice well. Easy instructions. Blends perfectly as instructed.
An Awesome Killer Blender! Perfect for smoothies. This machine is an amazing “blender”- it makes totally smooth smoothies in one minute and with the correct amount of liquid will blend or cream any other concoction in a matter of minutes. It is loud but that’s the powerful motor and well designed blades at work. The container and top are very sturdy and well designed and extremely easy to clean. It has a sturdy industrial cord and plug and off switch to preserve the motor. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, use it twice daily with liquids, powders, solids, ice and frozen items and it works like a charm! And it’s a US company and I believe it’s made in country. My old Vitamix pales by comparison Blendtec gets 5 stars from me! 👍👍👍👍👍
Great blender for smoothies. This is a great blender for making smoothies! It’s probably amazing for many other purposes, but I bought it for making protein smoothies and so far I love it. It’s easy to use with a preset smoothie button, and it cleans up very quickly. I’ve ground rolled oats into flour in it, as well as ice, nuts, frozen fruit, and greens. It has made short work of all of these items. It doesn’t get ridiculously loud like my previous blender either. It’s a blender, so it makes some noise obviously, but nothing you feel like you need ear protection for and it blends so quickly, it’s over in a flash. It’s a keeper!
Worth the price. I purchased this blender after seeing it on Modern Marvels. I figured if it can blend a cell phone, it can blend ice cream, which I was my goal. This works amazingly well, and I can’t imagine going back to my Nutribullet or KitchenAid blender. It can blend 6 ice cubes and a scoop of ice cream into a milkshake in 45 seconds flat. Definitely recommend!
Blendtec blender. Works well but it is much louder and has more vibration under power than my vitamix and I own six of these and have had two of the six quit under warranty and although they were replaced, they should last longer and it takes time to get a replacement which is not good for my rentals.
Take it from a former manager of Smoothie King – this blender is top tier. I used to manage a Smoothie King. After that, I worked in another juice bar/smoothie business. Those were high school/college jobs, but I still got a ton of experience with smoothie making and use of top tier, commercial blenders.I though Vitamix was the end all be all of blenders. Screw Ninja with all the blades, a Vitamix can pulverize and powderize anything you throw at it with the two small blades at the bottom.Flash forward to my first apartment after college – I had my eyes on a Vitamix but spending $3-400 just to make smoothies made absolutely zero sense financially. I was complaining about the Vitamix price tag to a friend of mine amidst a night of heavy drinking, and he asked me why I didn’t just get a Ninja. I told him I thought Ninja’s were dumb and gimmicky, and that nothing compares to a Vitamix. He then asked if I’d ever heard of a youtube channel called “Will It Blend?”. I told him I hadn’t, he quickly pulled it up, and after watching this blender turn an iPad into powder, I knew I’d found what I was looking for.Vitamix power at half the price. You cannot go wrong with this thing. It’s absurdly easy to use, absurdly easy to clean, attractive to look at, and seriously just as good as any of the commercial Vitamix’s I used at Smoothie King.Don’t think twice. This is it. Blendtec > Vitamix.
Terrific Blender. After a lot of research we decided to go with the Blendtec Classic 575 Blender because of the quality of blending and the great price. Since we’ve purchased it we absolutely love it. We use it approximately once a day and haven’t had any issues thus far. I definitely would purchase this blender again. It is very simple to use, has a lot of power, and one of the reasons we purchased it over competitor was because of the container size. It’s one of the largest on the market for the quality.
Powerful yet Lightweight. This is sweet and oerfect for my needs… purée soup smoothies, and blended salad including the dressing! no more having to cut it all up. A total Yes!
I really like the physical size of this model, I compared a Vitamix and this model of Blendtec. I found the Vitamix too large and heavy for me as a senior. Both had similar power but this Blendtec was easier to get thick contents out of. I put this Blendtec on my wish list and got a terrific price in a few months.
Multifuncional y Muy buena para cualquier comida
When I bought this blender off on Amazon it was great, But for some reason they kept on charging around 9 dollars in my bank account. This kept on going. This happened along time ago and I didn’t notice it until now. They kept taking my money away when I didn’t buy anything more than once. I want this to stop adding around 9 dollars in my bank account.
This blender kicks ass . Cut my smoothie preparation time in half from my old blender. Don’t have to precut my fruit

Powerful blender. I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews, it almost kept me from purchasing this blender but I love my KitchenAid stand mixer so I decided to get this to match. It’s by far the best blender I’ve ever used—it’s heavy and feels durable. I’ve been making smoothies, salsas, and açaí bowls almost every day since it arrived. The presets for crushing ice and blending drinks are awesome and work great! It also has specially designed blades that pull the contents down so everything is always evenly blended. The only con I have is that it’s very loud but it is a POWERFUL blender so I don’t mind. I also think for the price it should come with a glass pitcher vs plastic. The gear that turns the blade is plastic and I worry about longevity but time will tell. Overall very pleased with this blender!
The best blender I have tried. I really like this blender. It’s powerful, quiet, easy to use, and looks very nice. I previously had a Ninja blender which was also very powerful but it was a chore to clean, the KitchenAid is way easier to clean and it still works very well to chop even fine grains, I used it to pulverize marine salt and it worked great.
Powerful And Quiet. Extremely powerful, quickly breaking down large amounts of frozen fruit. Pretty quiet low freq sound, not the high pitched whirring that drills into your head. I had a Vitamix that I never used as it was too bulky. I store the blender under the cabinet and slide it out from under, then slide it back. The Vitamix was like a tank. This blender is pretty heavy but has slots on the bottom sides that make it much easier to stick your fingers in and slide than the Vitamix. Love the durable plastic jug that is light and cleans up easily inside, with large sturdy blades. Super attractive for a blender!
KitchenAid K400 Variable Speed Blender – KSB4027, Passion Red, 56 oz. Have not found anything negative about this equipment; I am pleased so far.UPDATE: Perfect blender, does not walk as it is blending, not too loud; the best I’ve ever purchased. Thanks for making it available!!! 🙂
Plastic not Glass. This blender is capable of doing every job I’ve tried. It is powerful and heavy enough that it doesn’t move around on my counter. As mentioned it is a strong plastic type material not glass.
Excellent contemporary design. We love this blender. Used one on vacation and just received ours from Amazon. Well packaged. The base is heavy and stable. The carafe is a thicker heavier plastic. Seems like it will last. Has a commercial look to it which we like esthetically. The blender cocktails 🍸 will be flowing tonight!
Yeah, it’s as good as a Vitamix. I’ve had this blender for over a year now, and it is my favorite blender by far.We have a vitamix I’ve used at work for years, and this matches it in blending power and consistency for sure. It is easier to clean since the bottom of the blender is a bit wider, making it easier to scoop food out of it. It has a self-clean mode that works well. It is loud for sure, but so are most of the blenders I’ve used. I’ve used this blender 2-3 times a week for a year and it is simple and easy. As far as the folks complaining about the controls, I just don’t get it. If you want to blend like on a vitamix, you select your blend speed on the 0-5 range and blend. If you want to make a smoothie, you select smoothie and push the start button. It has a built in timer and stops when it’s done. Want to crush ice? Select ice crush. That’s seriously all you have to do. It doesn’t get much easier than this folks. I guess people either refuse to read a quick guide or won’t do anything their smartphone doesn’t control for them.I definitely recommend this blender for anyone looking to spend less than Blendtec or Vitamix but able to spend enough for a premium blender. I am not paid by kitchenaid and bought this myself.
Expensive Piece of Junk. After much research I purchased this blender in November of 2019. I was considering the Vitamix or the Blendtec machines, but settled on this one because it seemed like a sturdy machine that compared, but at a lower price. The positive reviews for this machine helped me make my final decision to buy it.When I opened the box I immediately liked the machine. It was very attractive. It was heavy and seemed like a solid machine that would last a long time. When reading the reviews of comparable machines, the negative reviews contained comments and images of broken pitchers and described plastic bits winding up in the blended food, so when I began using my new Kitchen Aid machine I kept this in mind.I never used ice in the machine and never put pieces in that would break the pitcher or slow down the motor. When using the machine I would always gently pulse the food several times first to break up the food before raising the speed to blend. I was very, very careful so the blender would last a long time.I used the blender less than 20 times in November and December 2019. I liked it and it worked well enough.I bought the machine to make smoothies but that only lasted a few weeks and so almost a year passed before the blender was used again. My wife used the blender about a week ago (November 2020). She used only liquid ingredients to make a salad dressing, and was gentle with it. The machine made a terrible grinding sound and after cleaning out the pitcher we found the blade component had loosened up and was flopping around the bottom of the pitcher. It was melted and shredded and plastic was in our food. Please see the pictures I uploaded.I tried inquiring about a replacement part at the Kitchen Aid website with no luck. I was on hold for almost an hour before I gave up. I tried the chat with no luck. The website parts page was no help either. It seems I am now stuck with an expensive machine I barely used and is now worthless. As you can imagine, I do not recommend this machine or the Kitchen Aid company. We were a big fan of Kitchen Aid products for many years and many of our appliances are from this company. After the experience with this product and the impossible experience at the Kitchen Aid site this will be the last time we buy from this company.
This is a great blender. It really pulls the ingredients down into the middle and the ‘start slow snd then speed up’ seems to keep everything from splashing on the sides. It is also a lot quieter and very powerful compared to my old ninja blender.
I was deciding to splurge and get a vitamix. I’m glad I chose to buy this blender instead. I wanted a blender that doesn’t make my smoothies ‘chunky’. I can put any fruit/vegetable and it purées everything.
So I just made two perfect Margaritas with the push of a button. I’ve had a few in my lifetime and the blended texture of these was amazing … cheers! As for the blender … it’s a solid unit. The cup is not glass as some have commented. A glass one can be ordered but the one included is plastic (56oz). Heavy, solid plastic so I have no complaint. It won’t shatter.Rotated to the right, the dial control takes you from pulse (turned furthest to the left ), off, speeds 1 through 5, then the preset cycles (which I love), crushed ice, icy beverage (my margarita), smoothies, and self clean. For the margaritas, with my ingredients in the cup, I turned the dial from left to right to the icy drink preset, and pressed the “play” button which started the cycle of alternating speeds from low to high over about 30 seconds, that turned all the ingredients (24 ice cubes, 4oz tequila, 2 oz triple sec, 2 oz lime juice, 2 oz simple syrup, sprinkle of kosher salt) into an amazingly smooth, almost fluffy cocktail enjoyed by all.My son has made impressive smoothies with frozen fruit, fresh bananas.and yoghurt. Again the “smoothie” cycle varied speeds for superb blending results.Clean up consists of rinsing and half filling the container with warm water and 2 drops of soap. The “cleaning” cycle alternates speeds and provides cleaning results similar to our dishwasher. All around an excellent product. Powerfully crushes ice and blends to make anyone look like a cocktail wizard. I’d recommend!
Love this blender. I use it almost daily for protein smoothie. Very powerful and easy to use.

As with all KitchenAid appliances, the K400 blender is available in various colors, and its premium KitchenAid design will complement most kitchens. It is easy to use and performed well in almost all our tests except for evenly chopping nuts. Although the price is lower than many other premium blenders, you still receive an excellent, durable appliance.

The KitchenAid Artisan K400 is in the middle of KitchenAid’s lineup of blenders. It is available in seven colors in the United States (nine in Australia and twelve in the United Kingdom) and complements all KitchenAid small kitchen appliances. But it’s not a case of style over substance; this powerful device impressed us so much that we included it in our list of the best blenders.

Die-cast metal construction is typical of KitchenAid appliances, and it is reassuring to have such a sturdy base when the blender is spinning at top speed. It also contributes to the appliance’s upscale appearance and feels.

The KitchenAid Artisan K400 has three pre-set blending programs: ice crush, icy drink, smoothie, a pulse function, and an automatic cleaning program. Five variable speeds are available for manual control, and all programs and processes are controlled by a single dial on the front of the blender.

Key Features
  • Unique asymmetric blade that blends at four distinct angles to pull contents into the blade. Working with the 1. 5 peak HP motor
  • 3 preset recipe programs: ice crush, icy drinks & smoothie and 5-speed variable speed dial
  • Soft start feature starts the motor at a slower speed to pull food into the blade, then quickly increases
PROS
  • Sturdy
  • Good performance
  • Simple to use
CONS
  • Blender function symbols around the dial are quite small
  • No additional accessories
  • Didn’t chop nuts evenly

Worth the Price – But Watch for Error Code. I had been wanting to purchase a Vitamix for years, particularly because it was advertised to make soup. But I hesitated due to the price. I mean, who can justify paying $600 for a blender. But recently I got into a whole food kick and I decided that eating soups made from fresh vegetables would be a helpful. So I took the plunge.I decided on the Ascent A3500, because I like all the bells and whistles. I like the fact that I just push a button and it does all the timing and speed transitions for me. I can set it and walk away, where as with some models, you have to manually control the speeds and settings while you are blending. It also got a lot of good reviews and recommendations. So for me, this was the model I decided to purchase.I also decided to order the blender through Amazon Prime, so I could send it back if I didn’t like it. I like the safety net of being able to change my mind if I decide I don’t want to keep something. Especially now that I can just drop it off a the UPS store to make a return.Anyway, out of the box, I really liked the blender. Yes, it smelled like it was burning at first, as the motor was broken in. And, yes it is loud (don’t expect to have a quote conversation standing next to it). They say the Accent A3500 is quieter than other models. I can’t imagine how loud they are if that is true. It is also really big. But I found a place on my counter for it, and left it there. Right away I made a smoothie. And, I was impressed with how smooth it came out. I had put in spinach, flax and chia seed, as well as frozen fruit and ice. It can out so smooth. Unlike some smaller blenders that left small bits of ice.I next made some Leek and Artichoke soup that was delicious and it had me convinced I had made a good choice. Although there are some soups you can just blend straight in the blender (tomato soup for one), most soups you have to do some prep work and cook the ingredients on the stove first to meld flavors. But after that, you just throw everything into the blender and voila! Pureed, hot, steaming soup. The friction of the blades is what heats the soup. And, again, so smooth. I like drinking my soup (think Campbell’s Creamy Tomato), and this blender gets the ingredients blended so well that you can do just that. No chunks.I continued using the blender almost everyday in some fashion. However, after a few days of use, I started getting an error code E 1, that would keep the blender from working. After doing some research, I learned that it was a sensor error; the blender was having problems reading the container connection. The literature said just to turn it off and turn it back on. That worked at first, but I started getting the error code a lot and turning it off and on didn’t work.I looked on line and found this was a problem for some of the Ascent blenders and people had been instructed to send the blender back for repair if it persisted. Since I bought mine on Amazon, I returned it and ordered another. The first order was a package deal with a book. Wanting to see if I could get a blender from a different batch, I ordered it without the book. The new blender has been great! I have had it for a little over a month, with no error codes so far, and I use it almost everyday. My main uses are smoothies, soups, and a new one for me, nut butters. I’ve made three batches of cashew butter and it was delicious!! So much so, I had to quit making it, as I was eating too much. Note: I had the blender plugged into a power strip and it would trip the strip when making nut butters. However, when I put it in a regular plug (no strip) it did fine. I think the power strip was too sensitive. The other thing I really like is the the self cleaning feature. While you may have to take a wash cloth to the inside once in a while, for the most part, the self cleaning does the trick. So, bottom line, is the blender worth the bucks? Yes. However, there appears to be an issue with the sensor on some Ascent models (a bad batch?), so you may have to send it back or send it to Vitamix for repair. If that sort of thing makes you crazy, I would use caution. Other than that, I really love the Vitamix A3500.
The cost is high, but I consider it an investment in my health. This is the first Vitamix blender I’ve ever owned. I had always wanted one but I just couldn’t justify spending the money. I never really understood the hype; don’t all blenders do the same thing? I honestly thought I’d be paying 5x more for a blender just because of the brand name. So I stuck with my Ninja blender for more than a decade. It did the job just fine but I was never truly satisfied with its consistency of crushed ice. It was grittier than I would have liked. This prompted my search for a newer, more powerful blender.Initially I only cared about whether the new blender crushed ice into a smooth texture so I could replicate Starbucks Frappuccinos and slushies. As many folks do, I gravitated towards buying a brand I was already familiar with. In my case it was Ninja. So that’s what I initially bought. A more powerful version of what I already had. I will say that it DID manage to impress me with its ice crushing ability, but I was less impressed at how little Ninja’s design had changed since my last purchase 10 years ago. Water gets trapped in the container handle, and I just hate the blade that takes up so much space in it. So I started looking into alternatives. That’s when I decided to learn more about Vitamix and whether it really was worth hundreds of dollars more than my Ninja.Long story short: the answer is yes. Yes, it is worth it. There were three features in particular that really sold me: the blade design, its ability to make hot soup right in the container, and the 10-year warranty. I cannot stress enough how much better the Vitamix blade design is compared to the Ninja. There are two main blade types that you’ll find in a blender: those that chop, and those that pulverize.Blades that chop are cheaper but will wear down over time requiring you to sharpen or replace them. Blending hard items like ice cubes can be particularly rough for chopping blades and will cause them to dull faster. Ninja blenders use chopping blades. Vitamix, on the other hand, uses pulverizing blades that are dull by design and never need sharpening. Instead of taking up the entire container, the blade sits compactly at the bottom. It blends by pulling ingredients down towards the blade and pulverizing the heck out of them. Trust me, this makes a HUGE difference in the texture and consistency of your blends. For example, I added mandarin slices one time to a smoothie I made using my Ninja which uses chopping blades. It tasted fine but it couldn’t fully break down the little white fibers that hold citrus fruit segments together. I didn’t really like that texture so I just considered it a faux pas on my end for using an ingredient that maybe isn’t ideal to put in a blender. Turns out that while not ideal for my Ninja, the Vitamix A3500 had NO issues whatsoever pulverizing mandarins into a completely smooth texture. That’s the moment I thought, “Ok, I totally get the hype now.”The type of blade also determines how much liquid you need to add for it to perform its best. Chopping blades typically need more liquid to keep them moving. That can result in watered down results. With the Vitamix blades, you don’t need to add as much liquid. My personal experience is that everything just tastes better coming from the Vitamix, hands down.Ultimately what you’re paying for when getting a Vitamix machine is quality blades, a powerful motor, solid construction, and with the Ascent series a 10 year warranty. Ninja offers a one year warranty. Vitamix can pulverize just about everything you put in it into a completely smooth texture. It’s actually impressive. But the blades alone are not enough, the motor needs to be powerful enough too…The motor in this thing IS very powerful. People complain about how loud this machine is, and that powerful motor is the reason why. If you want quiet, look for a cheaper blender with less power. But for me the noise is a more than fair trade-off due to the consistently amazing blends it gives me. And to its credit, it’s only really loud when used on its highest settings. Having said that, the loudness is not intolerable, at least for me. You’ll also notice a kind of “burning” smell when you use it the first few times. Don’t be alarmed by this. It’s a brand new motor and needs time to cure (or “break in”). The smell will go away after you’ve done a few blends on its highest speed. The power cord is very short, I think it’s 3 feet long. So it’ll need to be placed close to an outlet. The length of cord makes sense though given how much power it puts out. It’s not ideal to use long cords with high powered appliances, so I don’t recommended using an extension cord. If there’s no other way, then I’d say use the shortest extension cord possible and make sure it’s rated for appliance use. Also, despite its low profile design, it would not fit under my cabinets. To be fair, I think my cabinets sit lower than average. Luckily I have one section of counter space that sits lower which makes it the only place I could put it. Otherwise I would have to store the container instead of keeping it on the base. What started out as a quest for better ice consistency evolved into a more complex obsession with blending. I use the Vitamix every single day. Sometimes more than once. I’ve made smoothies in it. Frappes. Soups. You name it. It actually got me excited to blend, try new recipes, and encourages me to eat healthier. I’m not someone that enjoys spending a lot of time cooking or preparing elaborate meals, and my laziness led to eating unhealthy (but zero effort) food. But I can make an entire soup in five minutes now using fresh ingredients by just throwing some vegetables and broth into this thing, blend, and eat. It’s almost TOO easy and I no longer have an excuse to avoid eating better. What can I say. I am absolutely obsessed with Vitamix now and a total convert. I do think it’s absolutely worth the price if you can afford it, because you have to consider that Vitamix is guaranteeing that it’ll last at least 10 years. Plus, I’m not sure if any other brand is going to give the exact same results. I had no idea what I was missing until I tried it myself, now I can’t ever go back.
I can not do without this machine now. There are an endless amount of healthy ideas for this machine and it can eliminate the use of processed choices.
Precycles are great. Does a thorough job. Like the cleaning option .
I had seen these blenders before on the cooking shows and know the big Celebrities all say its a “must have kitchen essential”… but it really is. My Partner and I went away on vacation and the resort had a smoothie bar and used these. We were so impressed at what it did, I bought this machine as soon as we came home. We literally use it everyday to make smoothies. Our fresh produce waste has actually reduced as we put everything and ever fruit and vegetable on hand in these smoothies. I have also purchased the stainless steel blender cup and started making soups in it with the 1-tough soup mode. It’s truly an amazing machine. I recently purchased the food processor attachment and donated my long trusted Kitchen Aid blender, food processor, and mixing wand as this easily replaces all of these with ease, snd its self cleaning! I hate to agree with them, but it is a Must Have kitchen essential! LOL!

I’m In Love With The Nutribullet 600. Wow! First of all the price was unbelievably low. I paid $68 for a brand new Nutribullet 600. I ordered it on Tuesday, June 2 and it arrived on Thursday, June 4. How is that even possible?I’ve had a Breville Compact Juicer for over a year but don’t use it anymore because every time I juice I need a shower afterwards. Pieces of veggies fly out of the shoot and end up in my hair, on my clothes and all over my kitchen. On top of that it takes about 15 minutes to clean. The cup is filled with foam after juicing and it’s extremely expensive to use because it takes so many veggies to make a full glass.I have some health issues to reverse and a bunch of weight to lose and after seeing an infomercial for the Nutribullet one night I decided to do some research and check out some youtube videos. Because I was able to find the Nutribullet 600 for such a low price and because many reviews and videos mentioned that there’s very little difference between the 600 series and the 900 series I decided to buy the 600.The Nutribullet I received has the new blade so hopefully I won’t have the rusting and leaking issues I read about in earlier reviews. In fact, one of the youtube videos shows the old blade and new blade next to each other so I know I received the upgraded version. My first smoothie, or Nutriblast wasn’t great because I used too many greens and not enough fruit. Except for that making the smoothie and cleaning up was flawless. For tonight’s smoothie I used the smaller cup and a different blend of ingredients and it was much better. I used too much liquid tonight so it wasn’t as creamy as I would have liked. I see this is a matter of mastering the recipes, like preparing any other meal,I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon for only $5. It’s much more expensive on the Nutribullet website.I think I’m going to love this little workhorse. I have a fridge full of organic fruit and organic veggies and I hope by this time next week I can update this review with a glowing report of better health and more energy.** Update: Very happy to report this unit is working flawlessly! Tonight I made the most delicious smoothy ever using frozen organic blueberries, frozen organic strawberries, organic baby spinach, Barleans flax oil, organic vanilla yogurt, almond milk (couldn’t find organic). So incredibly delicious and easy. I called Nutribullet Tech Support to get some guidance about the rust issues other people have been reporting. Spoke to an incredible support tech named Michael. He explained to me that all appliances of this kind contain lubricating oil to keep the gears running smoothly. If the unit is damaged because of misuse the oil can leak from the section housing it. If the unit is not damaged the section containing the lubricating oil should remain intact. He explained that sometimes people don’t know they damaged the unit because it continues working. He suggested changing the blade every 6 months as a precaution. Hope this helps.
Great quality blender. Dear potential buyers,The NutriBullet is a high-quality blender that will last. My brother has had his NutriBullet for a couple years and loved it; so, I finally purchased this two months ago, in December. My experience with this blender, so far, has been nothing other than great. A few premium assets that come with this NutriBullet are 2 different blades, lids, a pocket nutritionist, a cookbook, and more.If you live active, busy, healthy lifestyle or you like to be adventurous in the kitchen, then this blender is perfect for you. You can whip up a smoothie, grab a lid, and bring it on the go wherever you go. What’s great is that if you are new to taking on a healthy lifestyle and are unsure how to use your blender or what to put in it, the cookbook provides a ton of great recipes that have been tested and approved.Issues that I have had in the past with blenders is the texture of the smoothie that I am left with. When I would put spinach and berries into a smoothie I would be left with a gritty and seedy smoothie which was not too pleasant to drink. With the NutriBullet, I have not had any issues with the texture of my smoothies. The blades of the NutriBullet breakdown all of the components in my smoothie, creating a smooth and creamy texture. This blender is not just for smoothies. You can do so much more than that. Get creative and use your NutriBullet to make your own pasta sauces, ice cream, almond milk, hummus, nut butter, and even guacamole. Making these things with the NutriBullet saves you time because of its high-speed blending capabilities and also saves you time due to minimal cleanup. Normally if you were to make guacamole you would be using a couple different utensils, cutting boards, and bowls; however, when you use the NutriBullet to make your guacamole, you are only using one single utensil. No need for chopping and prepping your ingredients before, just toss it all in the NutriBullet and let it do it’s thing. Once the guacamole is done, all you have left to do is to clean the NutriBullet cup and blade! It’s so simple and convenient. So, if you are debating on what blender to buy for the best deal and quality, I couldn’t recommend the NutriBullet more. It really does it all!Sincerely,Hannah
Excelente, es original y fue el mejor precio de los lugares donde coticé
I’m so excited. I can make smoothies every day without hassle and it’s easy to clean. I also like that it isn’t too loud and the instructions for setting it up are easy to follow. Plus, I love that I can store smoothies I make in the fridge with the screw-on lid that is included! I’ve got no complaints so far and I’d recommend this to anybody that wants to enjoy smoothies frequently. I’m also *very* tempted to make a single-serving of home-made tomato pasta sauce sometime soon!
I am very pleased with my nutri bullet it is giving excellent results in just a few seconds and produces great smoothies it has an attractive design and has a very powerful motor I am very happy to have purchased this machine. james elderton

Best Blender For Acai Bowls – FAQs

The best blender for acai bowls should be able to create a smooth and creamy consistency without any chunks. It should also be powerful enough to crush ice quickly.

Acai bowls are a great way to start your day or have them as a light snack. They are packed with nutrients and antioxidants, which can help boost your immune system, improve your skin health, and promote weight loss.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to topping your acai bowl. Some of our favorites include fresh fruits, granola, and coconut flakes.

Making an acai bowl is simple! Just blend with your acai berries (frozen or fresh), add some liquid (we like using almond milk or juice), and then top with your favorite toppings.

Acai bowls make a great breakfast or snack. They are perfect for fueling your body before or after a workout.

If you’re looking for a powerful blender that can handle acai berries, we recommend the Vitamix 5200. This professional-grade blender can pulverize even the toughest ingredients, making it perfect for acai bowls.

However, the NutriBullet Rx is an excellent alternative if you’re on a budget. This affordable blender can still produce smooth, creamy acai bowls.

No matter which blender you choose, add some frozen fruit to your acai bowl recipes. This will help create a thick, creamy texture perfect for a refreshing summer treat. And don’t forget to top your bowl with fresh fruits and nuts for a nutritious and delicious meal.

Conclusion

In addition to the most common KitchenAid mixer attachments, the brand manufactures several excellent attachments designed to simplify particular tasks. For instance, if you frequently prepare the tomato sauce, the KitchenAid Fruit & Vegetable Strainer Set with Food Grinder Attachment would be a sensible investment. Fans of quick and freezer jams should also purchase this album.

The KitchenAid Precise Heat Mixing Bowl is another excellent option for bakers and chocolatiers. The unique mixing bowl precisely heats so that chocolate can be melted and kept liquid for as long as necessary. To get the most out of the attachment, you should blend and heat the soup.
