Thin and crispy pizza dough


This dough makes a crispy and thin crust that is ideal for gourmet pizzas and is also simple to make. The preparation methods used and the ingredients used bring out varied flavors to deliver a great tasting pizza bread.

1            x            12” Pizza


  • 80mls Water, lukewarm
  • ½ tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 1½tsp White Sugar
  • 140g White Bread Flour
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Tools Used:


  1. Combine the water, sugar and yeast in a medium sized mixing bowl and then let it stand for 5 minutes until the ingredients are dissolved.
  2. When dissolved add the bread flour, olive oil and salt. Mix with a spatula until all the ingredients are combined.
  3. Knead the dough by hand for approximately 8 minutes or alternative use a Stand Mixer with a dough hook for approximately 5 minutes. The pizza dough should appear smooth when stretched.
  4. Place the dough ball in a proofing bowl for approximately 3 hours or until the dough has tripled in size.
