Flourless Chocolate Cake

Try this food processor recipe that features a raw food dessert. It combines sweet fruits, chocolate and avoids flour and refined sugars. A healthy choice for people with sweet tooths!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of raw walnuts.
  • 8 dates, pitted.
  • 1/4 cup of cup unsweetened cocoa.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
  • 2 teaspoons of water.
  • A dash of salt.
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries together with with an additional 1/4 cup of pitted dates.

Preparation

  • Place the walnuts and salt in the food processor’s work bowl and chop and mix until finely ground.
  • Add the dates, cocoa powder, and vanilla into the work bowl. Mix until all the ingredients are combined and the mixture becomes sticky.
  • Add the water and mix briefly.
  • Take the mixture out of the food processor, place on a serving plate and form a round cake.
  • Put the raspberries and dates in the processor and process until smooth.
  • Pour the raspberry and date sauce over the chocolate cake just before serving.
