Saucy Mushroom Crock Pot Roast


  • 1 – 2 1/2 lb beef roast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 1/2 c soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 12 oz mushrooms, sliced and sauted


  1. Season roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place in crock pot.
  2. Mix ketchup and soy sauce in a bowl, stir in the thyme. Pour over roast and top with onions.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. When done, stir in the mushrooms and serve with roast.
