For the minis, we evaluated their ability to chop onions (with both the minimum and maximum loads), minced parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese. We recorded how rapidly each model completed these tasks and how much food remained unprocessed. We also examined the convenience of use: How useful is the instruction manual? How easy is it to assemble the blades and lid? How straightforward are the controls? What variety of settings is available? How simple is the cleanup?

User reviews

Love it. I love the size and convenience of a smaller food chopper. I got it to make a chicken salad recipe and it was perfect – rather than getting out my large bulky food processor – I just used this. It’s powerful and easy to clean. The ice blue color is very attractive. I would recommend it.
Works great perfect size. It works really well and is a nice compact size. It ready fast and strong. It chops really well and easy to clean. I would purchase again.
Kitchen Aid food chopper. This food chopper by Kitchen Aid is a good little tool. It is not very big but with dual blades it chops very well. Cleaning is a chore. Be careful with those sharp blades. Its small size makes it easy to store and set up quickly. I like the slot around the base to securely wrap the cord. I do recommend this appliance.
A great piece to have and use frequently. Love this KA for chopping and purée. So easy and perfect space saver… I use it for carrots, celery and onions for soup and Passata sauce and making mayo…salsa, hummus… so many things! Quick rinse and clean up in the DW.I bought this one for a gift…I have had mine over 10 years and still works great!💕🧑‍🍳
Could have been 5 stars. I really like this food chopper and have always trusted the KitchenAid brand. I am disppointd that almost the entire food chopper appears to be made of PLASTIC. This food chopper is not cheap at $50+, and I worry/wonder how long this food chopper will be the love of my life? It’s quite, does the job well (so far), and it’s attractive. BTW, all the plastic is not what I would desdribe as “high quality.” The food chopper is the prfect size for my needs, easy to clean, and does not take-up a lot of space. This is the last thing I I will add: — will I be back on Amazon in 6 months to buy a new food copper again bcause the plastic let me down?
I can’t believe how much I love this food processor. I had a small Emmie food processor for 30 years. I also have a Vitamix. When my Emmie gave out I bought parts on Ebay as I didnt want to give up the small form factor for things like making ground nuts, vegan parm, etc. I was so unhappy as I needed a small processor for things like nuts, spices, chilis and I prepare fresh food for my cockatiels weekly. This processor is AMAZING – it took a minute to get used to the lid but wow it has power, cleans w ease and SO awesome. If 10 stars was a thing…I’d give it. Quiet, stores well, clean, powerhorse. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Unbelievably well designed. Maybe I’ve been dealing with mediocrity my entire life but this is so much better than the one that I had before. It’s impossible to hurt yourself because of safety features, and it destroys everything that you toss in it – it shredded our garlic so well.I guess some cons are that it’s confusing to use the first time (Look it up on Youtube!) and that it lacks accessories like slicing attachments, but that’s what you sacrifice make for compact size. But for the class of food processor, full recommendation.
Great size and chops with ease. I will try to keep it short.Love the color and size. What impressed me was that it chops for example walnuts with ease. Keeps it pretty evenly chopped with pulsating it several times. Didn’t stick to wall of the container.I found the lid at first confusing and also the reviews with the smoke coming out scary, but that didn’t happen thank God. And also the warnings are a bit much.
Me ha encantadoEl tamaño es el ideal, cabe en cualquier pequeño espacioHace super bien su función100% recomendado
First and foremost, the size is perfect for those everyday kitchen tasks. Whether I’m chopping onions, making salsa, or whipping up a quick batch of pesto, the 3.5-cup capacity is just right for small to medium-sized jobs. It’s ideal for those moments when you don’t want to haul out the big guns but still need the convenience of a reliable food processor. The 240-watt motor may seem modest, but it handles everything I throw at it with ease. The stainless steel blade is sharp and efficient, ensuring consistent results every time.Cleaning up after use is a breeze. The bowl, lid, and blade are all dishwasher safe, saving me precious time and effort. The compact design also means it doesn’t take up much space in the dishwasher or on the counter, making it a convenient addition to my kitchen setup. The build quality is what you’d expect from KitchenAid – durable and reliable. The sturdy construction assures me that this mini food processor is built to last, and the sleek design adds a touch of sophistication to my kitchen.
Bought to replace a different brand whose container finally cracked. WOW! I should have bought this a long time ago. Quick, quiet, efficient. Cute colour too.
The KitchenAid KFC3516IC 3.5 Cup Mini Food Processor in Ice Blue is a gem in my kitchen. Not only does it add a vibrant touch with its charming color, but it’s also a powerhouse when it comes to performance. This compact gadget is perfect for quick chopping and pureeing, making meal prep a breeze. Its size is ideal for small countertops and the easy-to-clean design is a huge plus. Whether you’re a culinary expert or a beginner, this mini food processor is a must-have. It’s a small appliance that will make a big impact on your cooking routine!
Musste das Produkt entsorgen da ich es erst im Februar benutzten wollte und dann die Rückgabe verfallen war. Leider ist nur die Watt Leistung angegeben und nicht die Volt stärke. So habe ich 59 Euro verloren.

This is an elegant and robust small food processor. In our testing, it consistently completed the numerous tasks we assigned to it. It has two speeds, and the pulse mode lets customers control how their ingredients are processed, whether coarsely grinding nuts or pureeing a sauce.

It is compact and lightweight, allowing for easy movement within the kitchen. It also features a clever cord wrap design that makes it easy to store when not in use. This food processor’s lid features a drizzle basin that allows you to add liquid ingredients while blending.

Nonetheless, the assembly and locking mechanism might be improved. During testing, we often battled to unlock the chamber and the lid because they were excessively stiff. It became less of an issue as we grew accustomed to it, but first-timers may find it annoying.

2. Best Easiest to use mini food processor: Cuisinart DLC-2A Mini-Prep Plus Food Processor

Cuisinart DLC-2A Mini-Prep Plus Food Processor (White), 3 Cup

This tiny food processor is excellent in general. However, throughout testing, we were not thrilled with its performance. Despite being strong and having a large bowl to hold 0.7 pounds of meat at once, it was one of the noisiest micro food processors we evaluated.

In addition, the machine defaults to pulsing; thus, users must repeatedly push the Chop or Grind button on the control panel to ensure continuous processing. Obviously, it was only a slight issue during our testing, but we would welcome the addition of a chopping cycle.

When we attempted the Grind mode, which spins the blunt side of the blade in reverse to conduct more demanding activities, such as grinding nut butter and coffee grounds, it continued to shake violently.

Key Features

  • Chop or grind at the touch of a button
  • 24-ounce work bowl with handle
  • Exclusive auto reversing SmartPower blade for two powerful processing options
  • Touchpad controls are easy to use and easy to clean
  • Dishwasher-safe parts
  • Stainless steel blade with sharp and blunt edges
  • Spatula
  • Instruction/Recipe book
  • Limited 18-month warranty
  • BPA Free
  • Sturdy and powerful

3. Best Splurge Mini Food Processor: Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite Collection 4-Cup Chopper

Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite Collection 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder, Die Cast

works very well. it is a small tool for the small jobs the big Cuisinart is just too big for.my primary uses are pesto’s , sauces , dressings ,emulsifications ,mayonnaise.easy to clean without taking the entire washer rack upworks bi-directional and easy to change directions cop vs grind button.really the only 2 things I think it could do better have to do with Mayonnaise making , the oil drizzle well in the lid could be twice as large it is easy to pour too fast for the well and a way to keep it locked in the on position your holding that button down for a few minutes while the mayo gets whipped fully.
Love it and works super well. Love this. Small and perfect and doesn’t take up much cabinet or counter space.I’ve just purged the 13 cup food processor that I used twice. This one is perfect for what I need. Easy to clean and chops just enough, holds 4 cups or so. Have made it for hummus, aioli, chopped nuts etc. It isn’t any louder than any of the other chopper/blender things that are out there. No problem with it sliding off the counter, it hasn’t, but you aren’t going to leave it alone anyway. If you need a small food processor, this may be the gadget one for you.
Cuisinart vs Breville, Cuisinart wins. Update 12/2/21: this unit is still going strong and I still love it! No problems have arisen.Cuisinart FP-14DCN Elite 14-cup Food Processor vs Breville Sous Chef 16-cup Food Processor:I have tried both of these machines and they both had their pros and cons and I really wrestled over the decision. I’m happy I ended up with the Cuisinart machine for numerous reasons:1) The Cuisinart has a Dough button. The Breville does not and it just processes too hard and fast to make a decent dough with ease. Having the ability to make dough was very important to me.2) The Cuisinart is substantially more affordable. True, it does not have the extra blades that the Breville has – French Fry, Julienne, and Whipping Disc, but I didn’t think I would use those discs very often anyway. In fact, I felt the Breville did a very poor job of cutting french fries. I personally wouldn’t probably use a whipping disc. The only one I might miss is the julienne disc, but I can buy that separately for the Cuisinart. The Breville really overprocessed the julienne strips anyway. It didn’t do a great job.3) I like the lid on the Cuisinart better. It’s really easy to put it on and take it off (took a little bit of practice to learn how to do it right). It seals tightly and now that they have redesigned it, you can remove the rubber seal for cleaning. But there are also holes in the other plastic part of the lid that allow for water to get in and to help clean it out. So, I only occasionally feel the need to remove the ring for deeper cleaning.4) I like the retractable cord better. The Breville had a cord which could be stowed by pushing it back into the housing, but it wasn’t retractable.5) I like the oval shape of the smaller feed chute pusher better than the round shape of the Breville6) The Cuisinart has a higher wattaage7) The Cuisinart has a longer warranty8) I preferred a slightly smaller machine. 14 cup is plenty big for my purposes. The Breville did have some things I liked better – the design was slightly more attractive, with rounded edges. Sometimes I feel the Cuisinart design is sharp on those corners – not enough to cut, but just a bit uncomfortable. And the housing isn’t weighted evenly which makes it a little cumbersome to pull it out from a cabinet (the Breville was heavier but more comfortable to grab from a high spot). I thought the Breville accessory case was much nicer and seemed of higher quality and it had those extra accessories. The Breville has a taller feed chute. I feel the slicing and shredding of the two units is comparable. There might be a little bit more waste (unprocessed bits) in the Cuisinart vs the Breville, but the difference is minor (plus I like the smaller shredding of the Cuisinart better. Breville made my parmaggiano reggiano cheese too fine and powdery). In the end, Cuisinart’s Dough button, affordability, and longer warranty helped make the decision between the two units and I’m very happy with that choice.
Arrived and Turned On Right Out of the Box. As I write this review this item has about 25% one star reviews, very high for a product. After reading other reviews on other sites that rated it more highly, I ordered this not sure if I too would receive a machine that didn’t turn on right out of the box. Mine was ordered and delivered at the end of January 2019 and I just wanted to say it didn’t have any issues. If that changes, I’ll update this review.Obviously Cuisinart’s manufacturer has some quality control issues to address, and perhaps they have by now.Aside from that, right out of the box this seems more capable than the previous Cuisinart Mini food processor I owned. That one worked for nearly 15 years and I was happy with it. This one seems somewhat more powerful. It’s also got a larger work bowl and slightly larger base, but it’s still what I wanted, a small machine for chopping nuts for desserts without having to use my large food processor (then fill up the dishwasher with its pieces), or for making a quick salad dressing.Again, if it turns out I have issues, I’ll update this review. Otherwise, my good review holds and I’ve been happy with the product.UPDATE:I usually use the small size Cusinart food processors pretty much only for chopping nuts for dessert recipes and making vinaigrette or sometimes mayonnaise. Today I made Cuisinart’s own recipe for “Hummus for Mini Chopper” that you can find online at their site. Note the FOR MINI CHOPPER in that title. The first step is to chop parsley leaves. This machine does this extremely poorly, less well than Cuisinart’s smaller, less expensive versions (Mini Prep Plus, for instance). By the time I scraped the bowl a few times I may as well have just chopped it myself (I never had to scrape the bowl with the smaller versions, and with this one I never did get an acceptable chop on the parsley leaves). It’s pretty troubling to see how the Cuisinart name (and reliability) is being destroyed by the corporate greed of its parent company, and how sloppy even their own recipes are now.The recipe for “Hummus for Mini Chopper” says, “…With machine running, drop garlic through feed tube.” There’s just one problem with that. There is no feed tube on the mini food processors. The recipe continues on with “With the machine running, add the olive oil in a steady stream and process until the mixture is smooth and creamy.” Again, you can’t do that with this machine. There’s no place to pour through the lid while the machine is running. (It worked just fine to add the olive oil to the mix in the bowl and then chop to combine, and for the record, real hummus recipes don’t have olive oil in the mix, just drizzled over the top after it’s made.)The machine DOES chop garlic cloves very nicely, easily, and quickly. For this recipe which was obviously just downsized in ingredients and not actually written for this type of machine as the title suggests, putting everything together inside the bowl made an acceptable and tasty hummus, but it’s nowhere near as smooth and creamy as I can make in my Vitamix or my full-sized Cuisinart food processor. Further, this machine simply didn’t have the power to do it smoothly. It made me wonder how long it would last running it for two minutes at a time as the recipe calls for on a regular basis before I burned out the machine (or developed cracks in the blade as others have reported here). Instead of running smoothly it was somewhat jerky for the entire two minutes called for in the recipe.I’m going to stick to chopping nuts for dessert recipes, vinaigrettes, and mayonnaise only with this machine, which is what I bought it for, but knowing what I know now, I would have bought the Cuisinart Mini Prep instead. Having now owned both, I think the Mini Prep is the better machine for these small tasks when I don’t want to have to fill up the dishwasher with the full-sized Cusinart food processor’s parts.I also tried to make almond flour in this machine and that wasn’t very successful either. I had to stop before I made almond butter instead, but it was just for a Bundt cake so it worked either way. I wouldn’t buy this for that purpose or try that again, though. The Vitamix can do it without any problem.
Liked the product. Works great. Good value
Very good item and good price . FAst delivery and the item is working fine. I Stongly recommend.
Very happy. Nice compact unit.Recommended by Cooks Country.Tested…
Nous aimons bien ce robot culinaire de grande capacité et de grande puissance. Le seul bémol est que les instructions ne sont qu’en anglais et en espagnol. La langue française serait-elle en voix de disparition ?

Adding a food processor to your kitchen arsenal is one of the simplest ways to expand your kitchen’s possibilities and do several tasks with a single appliance. The food processor is not merely a glorified food chopper.

Yes, they make quick work of chopped veggies, but they may also be used to prepare purees, hummus, sauces, and aioli. You can use them to mix the dough, create mixtures, and make pie crust and froth milk. Unlike blenders and many other kitchen gadgets, a food processor almost works better in a smaller size, especially if you frequently prepare food for a small number of people.

Most full-size food processors have a capacity of at least 8 cups, making them more significant, more conspicuous kitchen appliances that frequently occupy a substantial amount of counter space.

A compact food processor does the same tasks with a smaller footprint for approximately half the price. We discovered that the average size of a tiny food processor was 3.5 cups, while some can accommodate up to 5 cups of ingredients. Either size is adequate for preparing hummus or vegetables for soup or salsa. How we evaluate the best mini food processor

4. Best Budget: Ninja Food Chopper

Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop with 200-Watt, 16-Ounce Bowl for Mincing, Chopping, Grinding, Blending and Meal Prep (NJ110GR)

User reviews

Bought 2. My husband bought this for me because he knows how much I hate food prep. I love this so much and have even put Oreos in it to chop for a crust for a pie I made. It is super heavy duty. Easy to clean. Easy to use, I use it almost daily. I even bought one for my mom because she has rheumatoid arthritis and her hands are not what they used to be. So this makes it easier for her to just put in whatever she needs to chop and it does the job perfectly.
Powerful little machine. I bought this chopper hoping it would make the chopping of food easier – this has surpassed my expectations! It works phenomenally and is so quick and easy to use.I found that if I want an item chopped, I need to just pulse the top button a couple of time and voila – it is perfectly done. I can hold the top down longer if I want something more closely minced. It has so much power and cuts a tremendous amount of time out of food prep.
“Gardening Adventures” on YouTube. Ninja products for preparing and cooking too are some of the best appliances you can get and worth the prices. I had bought one of these many years ago, but lost it after the move to our new place. This machine allows you to chop vegetables and other foods at your own pulse power. Longer pulse, meaning if you press and hold the top longer, will achieve smaller chopping. It is powerful, very easy to use, and easy to clean with caution. All blades are sharp and this is no exception, when it comes to rinsing the blade or cleaning, but this small chopper wonderfully does the chopping and gets rinsed smoothly. The bottom rubber base is very good in keeping it in place, and blades chop in seconds. People often think smaller choppers are not worth the money, but this one gives you a very good amount chopped and done for meal making and more (See the size next to the 2-cup measuring glass) Cut harder and longer vegetables, like carrots before putting in the chopper. Remember this one is a small chopper and you can fit the right amount in the container if you cut the vegetables a little. Don’t forget to put the lid on before putting the motor top and start chopping. We are very happy with this chopper.
Best product. I LOVE this mini blender! I purchased a cheap blender and within a few used three it away and purchased this. I saw someone on instagram using this instead of the Ninja creami and I had to heat it since the Ninja creami was sold out. So glad I did because this is much cheaper. I freeze my protein shack in a silicone ice tray and then blend them up in this blender. So yummy and easy! This is also easy to clean. Great product and I highly recommend spending a little more money to get this Ninja blender vs a cheap blender.
Powerful and Consistent Chopping Here. I’m very happy with this little processor. I bought this to replace a 3-Cup Cuisinart processor that had served me well for nearly a decade of use before finally giving up. After reading the positive reviews, I thought…why not? I had a large dinner coming up, which meant a lot of onion-, tomato- and celery-dicing. I’ve owned the Ninja Bullet blender for a couple of years, so I hoped the Express Chopper would pack the same powerful punch.I was not disappointed but let me share one caveat — don’t go wild chopping or you’ll end up with a pulverized product. Instead, “pulse” the large button on the top. A few short bursts is all you need to finely mince a large onion. The key to the Ninja Chopper’s success is four staggered blade, each one approximately 1/2-inch above the one below. The blade configuration eliminates uneven chopping that can happen in processors that only have blades at the bottom. The power and the blade configuration are excellent, but that’s not even what I like the best about this littlest Ninja product. The best part is the lid that fits on the chopping container and allows you to chop without getting the underside of the motor part messy. The lid has a small hole in the top, which allows the motor assembly to fit directly on the blade assembly. After chopping, lift off the motor and you’ll find a little flip-lid that closes to seal the food you’ve just chopped. This little unit ground blanched almonds into smooth almond paste in under 30 seconds, and that includes the time it took to remove the lid and scrape down the sides with a small silicone spatula. As I said – pulse only unless you’re looking to make something like almond paste/butter. It also performed well when I made homemade mayonnaise. Smoother than my blender makes it.The blades lift out for easy cleaning. I’ve found that a quick rinse in hot water is usually sufficient if I need to use the chopper again. One last cool feature — the non-slip base on the food container. It protects the bottom of the chopper and prevents it from sliding across your counter when chopping.All-in-all, I like the Ninja Express Chopper even better than my dearly departed Cuisinart chopper. I cook a lot and this makes food preparation so much simpler. I’ve only had this little chopper for about a month, so I’ll come back and update in six months, or so, but I’ve had so much luck with my Ninja Bullet blender and I use it almost everyday, so I don’t foresee any motor problems with the chopper. I highly recommend this little power-packed chopper.
Es compacto por lo que no utiliza mucho espacio, fácil de instalar y de usar.
No Uk plug fitted, short single insulated cable. poor quality lead . I’m not impressed with this product especially for the price and time it took to deliver.
We bought this because we were looking for a small kitchen gadget to help do prep work like chopping or mincing. Wow! This Ninja Express Chop literally takes the tears out of finely minced onions. It is so efficient and quick that the first onion we minced turned into a puree. A second try later we pressed the button on/off to pulse chop and in about 10 seconds we had very finely minced one large sweet onion. Our burgers came out juicer than ever and owe it to this chopper. Yes, it even chopped crackers into crumbs in no time at all. Clean up was a breeze as the blade and cup are easy to rinse off. Given the cup itself is essentially plastic, not sure chopping something like raw carrots would stain the cup over time as we experienced that with our older full size processor. We just wish we had gotten this sooner.
Product is good.
Muy potente, buena calidad, fácil se limpiar, cuchillas muy, muy afiladas.

The Ninja Express Chopper is inexpensive and user-friendly, with several capabilities that are not typically accessible in more expensive choices. The anti-spill splash guard and slip-resistant base provide a mess-free preparation experience. The lid, which serves as a splash barrier, also serves as storage space. Flip it open to install the motor or close it for storage.

There are measuring indicators on the bowl to facilitate preparation, and two layers of blades are within to ensure proper ingredient processing. The control is a single button on the top for simplicity of use. With a 2-cup capacity, it is on the smaller side, but given the benefits, it is valuable.

Key Features
  • 200-watt power pod.
  • Effortlessly mince, chop, grind and blend a variety of ingredients for easy meal preparation or final touches
  • Perfect for garlic, onion, zest, spices, herbs, cheese, bacon crumbles, nut chopping, chocolate, dressings, sauces, and spreads

5. Best Versatile: Food Chopper Electric LINKChef

Food Chopper Electric LINKChef, 2L Meat Grinder Electric Food Processor Chopper 250W with Stainless Steel Bowl and 4-Bi Blades for Meat, Fruits, Vegetables, Baby Food, Nuts, Salad

The LINKChef Mini Food Processor is compact and lightweight, with four bi-level blades, a stainless-steel bowl, and an anti-slip rubber pad for fastening the appliance. This model’s locking blade and convenient pour spout are two of its most notable features. The work bowl is large enough to accommodate larger batches of ingredients without sacrificing performance. Although stainless steel, the top is see-through, allowing the contents to be observed. The bowl, cover, and blade are safe for the dishwasher.

6. Best Value: Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap 4-Cup Mini Food Processor

Hamilton Beach Electric Vegetable Chopper & Mini Food Processor, 3-Cup, 350 Watts, for Dicing, Mincing, and Puree, Black (72850)

This Hamilton Beach food processor has all the features of a full-sized model, including a lid chute that allows more extensive materials to be fed in and two blade selections.

Users must physically snap the two locks onto the lid for it to function, which is a less convenient locking system than some other items we evaluated. During assembly, we observed how readily the blades could come into touch with hands; safety shields would be beneficial.

Although it performed satisfactorily in various tests, it struggled to evenly cut herbs such as scallions.

Despite the chute’s apparent utility, we found little use for it in practice. The chute allows users to load more ingredients into the chamber without opening the lid. The chute is too narrow for components to travel through easily.

Key Features
  • 250 watts
  • Versatile & Compact 4 Cup Food Processor
  • Superior chopping and blending results with stainless steel quad blade
  • The function guide on the front of the food processor shows you which blade to use for each task
  • BPA free in all food zones and is easy to clean with removable, dishwasher safe parts
  • Built-in cord storage reduces countertop clutter
  • Two blades for a wider range of tasks
  • Decent at chopping
  • The chute is not useful

7. Best Manual Mini Food Processor: ZYLISS Manual Food Processor

ZYLISS Easy Pull Food Chopper and Manual Food Processor – Vegetable Slicer and Dicer – Hand Held

User reviews

Looks great, fun to use. Quick & easy to use, to clean, and to store. Fun design, fun to use. Minimalist. Works in power outages ;-)I use mine to make organic walnut butter. It takes about a minute, is absolutely fresh, is about half the cost of buying ready-made, and eliminates packaging (normally glass jar + lid). Ingredients: organic walnuts. That’s it. 3 pulls yields chopped nuts, but for my purposes I give it 30 pulls to yield a nice fine texture about like brown sugar. I store my “walnut dust” in a reusable container in the fridge. At breakfast, I drizzle olive oil on toast, then put a spoonful of my walnut dust on the bread and spread it around with the back of the spoon. Tastes great as is, or top it with cinnamon. At first I assumed I’d add some oil to make the consistency more like peanut butter (which you can do by adding an oil of your choice), but I prefer the mealy dust consistency for simplicity’s sake: faster to make, no mess to clean up, easier to store, zero waste.New topic: I routinely make one dish skillet meals using half a dozen or so different veggies, and I initially bought this hoping to speed up veggie prep, but I wasn’t thrilled with the results for that purpose. Within the first few pulls, you end up with partly pureed mush and partly unchopped pieces. If you keep pulling to make the big pieces smaller, you end up with ever more mush…more like a smoothie. Cooked veggie smoothie anyone? Exactly. So I’d recommend using this for things you want to puree…salad dressings, marinades, sauces, dessert toppings, guacamole…and of course it’s great for chopping nuts. For veggies though, I went back to using a knife. (Feb. 2019 update: for veggies & hard fruits like apples, I’ve been using, and recommend, Presto 02970 Professional SaladShooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. I use it every day.)Would definitely buy again. Has paid for itself many times over.(2019 Feb. update: I’ve been using the Zyliss for over two years now and it’s still going strong!)[2023 Nov. update: it’s *still* working fine! Mostly using to chop frozen walnuts, which are not easy on it; although I’m careful not to overload it…just doing a medium handful at a time. Also for processing cilantro and/or parsley with nuts & oil etc for quick/easy pesto type condiments.]
Perfect for chopping things and shredding lettuce. This tool has made meal prepping incredibly easy and fast. Most of my time is spent chopping vegetables and lettuce for various recipes. It not only cuts down on prep time, but also clean time. My picture shows two pulls for perfect chopped red onion for Mexican street corn casserole.
Wow. This is the very best and easiest chopping device I have ever used! It’s easy to use, super easy to wash and will chop about anything you want to put in there. Saves time and definitely worth the money!
Everyone should have one….saves so much time and so easy to use. Sorry I didn’t know about this years ago…so easy and saves so much time chopping!
You declined my review telling me to modify it and resubmit. WHICH Guideline(s) did it fail. How can I edit and resubmit when I can’t see what I submitted? Please email a copy of my submission as well as what guideline(s) I abused. This is a wonderful product and deserves all the credit I can give it.
Wash behind your ears?🤔. The good is this chopper is great and makes easy work of chopping harder vegetables like carrot or broccoli a breeze and things like salsa or relish in just a few pulls and it is very finely chopped and is a time saver. The bad is liquids will make way into the lid which is enclosed put not water proof put has a small screw plug that can be removed to rinse and drain the inside lid area. I’ve made hummus with the zyliss and make mine to a cake batter consistency and to get the enclosed part of the lid clean it took around 6 fillings and shaking then draining to clean.well now I just chop the dryer ingredients in the zyliss and mix in the wetter ingredients in a separate bowl so to sum it up the zyliss is a great chopper and easy to use but can be a hassle to clean the inside of the lid/drive but it is something I can accept put if the lid was waterproof or more resistant to liquids would definitely rate a five stars product. Happy cooking!
very handy and easy. easy to use and to clean after use much better powered types
Works Well. A great chopper! Gets the job done well!
Muy practico
Works really well, not flimsy like other similar products. The pull handle is big and comfortable. As stated on the headline, we bought one for ourself used for months now happily, now bought 4 more to gift to loved ones.
Had a cheaper version of this for years and used it often, it finally fell apart and I decided to give this one a try. The last one was great, but this one is a LOT better, well made, and chops things up nice and fine in seconds. The last one was difficult to clean and had spots that were difficult to wash – this one is super easy to clean, and without any spots that are hard to clean or where food gets trapped. The blades are a lot sharper, and it does a much quicker job of things. Highly recommended!
Why did no one tell me about this little gadget years ago?! It is going to change my life in the kitchen and save so much time! I cook a lot. I’m always chopping vegetables and I hate it. I also have carpal tunnel so all that time chopping really takes a toll on my hands. This little chopper is amazing! I used it tonight for the first time to make chilli. In my chilli, I wanted to sneak in some veggies as my family don’t eat enough. I chopped some mushrooms very finely and cauliflower (sounds weird, but it works). The vegetable pieces were so small that once they were in the chilli and left to simmer for a bit, they disappeared. My husband HATES cauliflower – detests it and he didn’t even notice them in the chilli. I also used leftover cauliflower to make cauliflower rice and it was so easy compared to me trying to chop it up with a knife. The best part of my meal? Making guacamole. In the past, I’ve had to dice the tomatoes really small and even then, my child would pick them out. This time, I used the chopper to cut up the tomatoes til they were almost a sauce and then added lemon juice and avocado. The consistency was so good and delicious. My daughter loved it.I can see myself having a very happy life with this little chopper and will use it for sauces, smoothies and maybe even baking (e.g grinding nuts or oats)
I had one of these and sadly had it too close to the burner and the lid melted a bit. I was heart broken so I finally ordered a new one. Love it just as much, but sad that it’s an inch smaller than the last one I had. But still a great product. Highly recommend. Great for cutting onions and not crying! Also good for harder veggies like carrots and sweet potato!

8. Best Cordless Mini Food Processor: KitchenAid Cordless 5 Cup Food Chopper

KitchenAid Cordless 5 Cup Food Chopper – KFCB519, Empire Red

User reviews

Convenient Food Chopper 5 Stars. This chopper is convenient to use and has great features that I like for cleaning:1. the 3ft cord is cylindrical two-pronged (easier to wipe down than a flat cord)2. Dishwasher-safe bowl, blade and accessories, easy to take-apart too.also:1. the chopper is not large and doesn’t take up counter space. Same for storage.2. the drizzler on the top is a very thoughtful feature. Pour liquids into the bowl without removing the lid!3. The motor is not super loud. It’s not silent by any means, but definitely not overwhelming.4. the 5 cup bowl size is just right.I have used the chopper, which is does so much more than chop! It whips, mixes, purees, stirs! I like homemade guacamole, and it’s easy with this unit! Avocados, onion, garlic, tomotoes, olive oil, cilantro, so easily chops up the tomato, onion & garlic (fast), avocado (blink and it’s done), using the dripper to add the oil. What I had to learn:1. the lid on/off took a minute to learn for me. Once I learned how to rotate the lid, it was easy.2. Also, turning it on/off took a minute for me to figure out. Again, could be the operator.
Very practical and light weight food processor. If you need an everyday use food processor/blender, this will work like magic. I use it to chop veggies, puree some baby food and chop nuts, and I had no problem with it so far. It’s very compact and lightweight, which is very convenient for me. Putting the lid on and off was a bit hard at first but once you get used to it, it’s all good.
It’s a game-changer for my kitchen and will save me so much time on meal prep. The media could not be loaded.  One thing I love about this KitchenAid food processor is the pulse function. It allows me to have more control over the processing speed, especially when I want a coarser texture. I appreciate the fact that all components of the processor are able to easily disassemble for easy quality cleaning of the unit. The blade is super sharp and I’ve never had an issue cutting thicker veggies or grains. Overall, I am beyond impressed with my new KitchenAid Food Processor. It’s a game-changer for my kitchen and will save me so much time on meal prep. If you’re considering getting one, I highly recommend it!
Works well for me, with a few drawbacks. I recently received this product, so this review represents early impressions. I use a food processor regularly for many cooking tasks, especially making sauces and dips. My full-sized one is occasionally a bit too large. For example, it can’t puree garlic cloves in a small amount of liquid. Initially, my goal with this unit was to be able to make hummus and mayonnaise.Pros:I like that it’s a bit larger than most mini food processors. I found it easy to assemble and use. The “whisk” attachment is just a rippled plastic disk, but when rotated at high speeds, it can whip air into ingredients for whipped cream, meringue, etc. The manual recommends using it for mayonnaise, so I tried it. The small batch of mayonnaise came out perfect–thick, creamy in texture, white in color, just like store-bought mayonnaise. The drizzle cup on the lid worked well for building the emulsion slowly. On the higher speed setting, the rotation speed is quite high–more like a blender–which is helpful if you want smooth purees. The motor power seems sufficient. I think this tool will likely get a lot of use in my kitchen.I also like that the center shaft is taller than on many food processors so more liquids can be added without fear of leakage around the blades.Cons:It’s pretty tough to clean. I wash it by hand, and there is no easy way to get into the narrow cavity inside the plastic rotating pillar that the blades rest on. The blades themselves are very sharp and difficult to handle and clean. My full-sized food processor’s blades have a protrusion that can be grasped to hold them while cleaning the blades with a brush. These have only a large hole in the center. The lid consists of two pieces. You push one down onto the other in order to start the unit running. There is a gap between them where gunk can get in, but no way to get into the narrow space and clean it out. They don’t appear to be meant to be separated, and the manual shows no way to do it.It’s also quite loud. The sound is like the high-pitched whine of an electric drill. This is not much of a hardship if you are just pulsing it to coarsely chop ingredients for a salsa. But when running it continuously for a few minutes to stream oil into mayonnaise, I actually put on hearing protection. I don’t want to give the wrong impression. It’s not excruciatingly loud. It’s just loud enough to be annoying if you have to run it for any length of time. This is true of many food processors and blenders, but my full-sized food processor is very quiet by comparison. There is no way to lock the motor on, so you have to hold down the lid at the handle constantly to keep it running, which means you can’t start it and then do other tasks while it’s processing. It’s also a bit annoying when making something like mayonnaise, where you have to stream oil in, because it means both your hands will be occupied the whole time. While the drizzle cup is quite nice, there should be a way to get more of a hole into the container. For example, if you want to blend xanthan gum into a liquid, the best way is to add it with the processor already running so it disperses immediately and evenly. With this unit, there’s no way to add it without stopping and opening the lid.Oddly, it has two speeds, but the manual only recommends the low speed, which is called “chop,” for whipping eggs and egg whites. The other speed, called “puree,” is recommended for everything else, including chopping ingredients by pulsing.
Great chopper. This is perfect, small and mighty. My “old” food processor from the 1980s cracked and I threw it away, it was big and took a lot of storage space…this is small and chops just as well! Also, I tried using my blender between the “old” food processor/chopper and this “new” KitchenAid…and what a mess that was! The blender is on its’ way to the trash or recycling, too.
Really good. Easy to use and clean. Works well not too noisy. I ordered this blender I have the smaller one but the lid was broke. The lid on the larger one works with the smaller blender, win win. The color is a vibrant red. Worth the money don’ hesitate to buy it.
This little processor is powerful. I had my little cuisinart processor for years! Like 35 years. I loved it and when it finally died and I could not get parts I finally had to change. I did my research and settled on the kitchen aide small processor. When I received it I was disappointed that it looked so small. Well looks are deceiving! When I read all the directions and started using it the more I used it the more I liked it. This morning I was chopping semi frozen bacon the remnants and tailing type. It’s about 3 pounds. I did not think the kitchen Aide would do the job. But I started chopping and BOOM! It was done. All the bacon bits were uniform and it took so little time. I have used it for puréed foods nuts corned beef hash sauces and tonight it will be a first for whipped cream. My one BIG complaint is that I was wrestling with my old little processor for way too long. My new favorite little kitchen helper! It is great. I love it.
The first one had a battery problem and couldn’t recharge. KitchenAid asked me to contact a local service company but didn’t have a response. So I requested Amazon to replace a new one and get an answer immediately even though I dropped the original box. So now I have a new one, and it works very well. Excellent Amazon customer service.
KitchenAid, Absolutely fantastic, what a little Marvel, it makes food preparation in the kitchen so easy. I am very happy with this purchase, I own a number of KitchenAid gadgets and by far I love love love this one so much more AAA++++
Nice addition to kitchen appliances. Easy to use, not terrible to clean, battery lasts a while.

This cordless mini chopper requires approximately two hours to fully charge, which is plenty for chopping forty onions. Within seconds, the onion was sliced into uniform pieces, ready for sautéing or addition to salads. When it came to grinding firm materials like roasted almonds and hard cheese, it had no trouble doing so.

This high-quality food processor requires no setup, and its safety features protect young children from accidentally activating the appliance. Its 5-cup volume is sufficient for most culinary jobs, but if you are making food for a large group, you may need to work in batches.

Although we appreciated its effortless operation, this food processor is not perfect. There is no opening on the lid for adding ingredients during usage. Instead, it would be best to load everything before initiating a processing cycle.

Key Features
  • 5 cup BPA-free work bowl
  • 2 speed settings
  • Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery
  • Delivers optimal runtime and performance.
  • Compact design
  • Surprisingly powerful
  • Rechargeable cordless design
  • Pricey

9. Best Mini food processor for slicing and shredding: Hamilton Beach Food Processor 8 Cup

Hamilton Beach Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper for Slicing, Shredding, Mincing, and Puree, 8 Cup, Black

The Hamilton Beach 4-Cup Mini Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper has all the functions of the other food processors on our list (save for the cordless one). Still, it also has a shredding/slicing attachment that is particularly noteworthy.

Most tiny food processors lack a shredding or slicing attachment. Many would argue that the connection would make it difficult to store and that the bowl’s small capacity would necessitate frequent stops to empty it as you shredded your desired result. However, a shredder/slicer attachment is a beneficial kitchen tool, and the Hamilton Beach 4-Cup Mini Food Processor is one of the few models that have one.

Like many of the other models we evaluated, this Hamilton Beach compact food processor was equipped with a 250-watt motor, which is more than capable of handling even the most challenging tasks.

The stack-and-snap design makes the Hamilton Beach 8-Cup Food Processor extremely user-friendly. In contrast to other models, the bowl of this food processor does not need to be rotated to lock in place; simply stack the bowl, blades, and cover and snap them into place to begin processing. Except for the blades, which must be washed by hand, all the components of this food chopper are dishwasher safe.

Key Features
  • 8 cup capacity
  • 2 speeds plus pulse control
  • Stainless steel slice/shred disc and chopping blade
  • Powerful 450-watt motor
  • Dishwasher safe bowl, lid & blades
  • Inexpensive
  • Light weight and compact to store
  • Works well for chopping, mixing, and pureeing many foods
  • Creates very thin slices, and disc is not adjustable
  • Has difficulty slicing soft or high moisture foods
  • Less versatile than more expensive models
  • Both speed settings run extremely high

10. Best Design: Philips Kitchen Appliances MultiChopper with Chop Drop Technology

Philips Kitchen Appliances MultiChopper with Chop Drop Technology, Black, HR2505/26, 1.1L

Works great for the money. I lost all my lower molars a cpl years ago for various health reasons. Except the last back 2, thank God.It’s been very difficult to chew ever since and my diet changed and threw me into a hospital visit from lack of salt over Labor Day weekend by ambulance. Had only been able to eat soft Pure Bars with very little “ real food”.I saw this little handy dandy for a price even on my Medicare disability income ( very very little to allow any extras, needed or not) .It worked beautifully.. Tried it out last night on a celery and chicken salad n I could lactually chew and for first time in 2 years , can enjoy good, healthy food!My diet is extremely limited, but it does the job just fine.It is small and will work great for people w out disabilities to use for chopping various items as it’s described, for larger recipes.I make up a weeks worth and just spoon a helping in the basket, press down n Voi la!I’d say the only draw back is if you need for use for more than one, you might want a bit bigger processor as this basket holds plenty for one pre made salad, or dish, but wouldn’t be sufficient for a family. Even would probably work for 2 if you can eat other things with your salad and it’s not your only meal.Pics trying to show actual basket size.Clean up was a breeze. Not complicated at all to put together and use.Really great purchase for the price!!One happy, but more importantly, back on the road to a healthier lifestyle, customer! Here’s to your health!
I bought this cause i hate dicing carrots like for mirapoix and also i was. I bought this cause i hate dicing carrots like for mirapoix and also i was thinking maybe i can replace my small food processor wih it. Dicing carrots take long time, i would avoid it if possible. So i tried this with carrots, onions and celery and it worked as it says it does. The pieces are not uniformly sized but i don’t care anyway . Im not looking for perfection, i’m after the convenience, less time spent on prepping. Clean up is not bad, i hand washed it. Just be careful with the blade. It would take me longer to dice carrots than cleaning it up. But i realized i cannot replace my small food processor with it cause this one, the motor is on top, you cannot drizzle oil while processing if your recipe calls for it. But i still give it a 5 star. Oh i also tried manual dicing tools from other maker. Its not easy to use them on carrots and potatoes, i havee to slice them thin so the dicer can cut through them.
Honest thoughts from a guy who actually paid for his. At the time of writing, 70% – 14 of the 21 reviews appearing here are from Vine Voice reviewers – those customers hand picked by Amazon to give a “fair and unbiased review” in trade for receiving their product free of charge. In this case a product valued at $69.95.I bought mine. Got it on sale here on Amazon for $34.95. This is not a paid review, and here are my truly “unbiased” thoughts:It works as advertised and does a fabulous job of chopping onions, carrots and even mushrooms (which come out very finely chopped, just the way my meatloaf recipe calls for). It assembles easily, and makes quick work of anything you put in it. As you can imagine, it needs to be rinsed thoroughly after use, but I found cleanup to be quick and straight forward. You do however have to pre-cut the items small enough to fit the container…so don’t throw away your knife just yet.The chop and drop basket is a brilliant solution to the problem of inconsistent chopping often encountered with standard food processors. I do wish the cup didn’t have vertical ribs on the inside, which make it a little difficult to get all the chopped food off the sidewall of the container, but that’s a very minor point. There are still times I’ll be sticking to my trusty chef’s knife and cutting board though, as I prefer the look of properly cut veggies in some stews and soups. But when you’re going for a quick chop — especially onions, this does the job, quickly and efficiently. In conclusion, it’s a good machine for the price I paid, though I wouldn’t have spent $69.95 for it.
Love this Philips MultiChopper. This is great when making salsas or just chopping onions. I have a recipe that calls for 3 different onions, peppers, and jalapeno peppers all to be diced. it was so easy to make using this chopper! There are several pieces that requiretaking apart to wash but when dicing everything for the same recipe you only have to do it once. The directions for use are easy to follow and there is a reason it mentions the blades are VERY sharp because they are ! This is the best, easiest to use chopper I have ever owned.
Great buy. The best part of this is that it’s easy to clean.I have carpal tunnel so dicing can be painful. I purchased this to replace an onion chopper that is manual and was really hard to clean the dicing blades not to mention you really had to put your weight in it to push the veggies through. This chopper comes apart easily and nothing gets stuck in any of the parts.Do you get a perfect dice? No but it’s pretty consistent-a few larger and smaller pieces but not bad
Waste of money and time. What a complete POS. The standard blade is literally rounded. No cutting edge whatsoever. It pulverizes instead of chops. Want chopped nuts? You’ll get nut butter instead. The “drop chop” blade is sharp, but it, and the basket you have to use it with are only good for one thing: finely chopping onions. Even that makes little sense… The instructions tell you to first chop the onion into 1/4″ dice. Why would I go through the process of setup and cleaning of this if I have to chop my onions before I use the machine? Elsewhere, it says you can halve the onion, but only a small one will fit.Tried their customer service. Was dropped three times after a roughly 20 minute wait each time. Call me a sucker.Run, don’t walk away from this thing.
Chopped veggies, no more mushy seasoning. This product is awesome. I have a couple of small choppers but they chop til the ingredients are a paste. With this one you chop in a bowl and the pieces go through the tiny holes and you’re left with chopped veggies. Not a paste. I use it for onions, tomatoes, garlic and scallion. I will not use it for harder stuff because after reading some other reviews I don’t want to take that chance. But it’s excellent for what I use it for.
Buen producto, un poco más grande de lo que imaginaba, pero fácil de usar, tiene mucho filo las cuchillas, me hubiera gustado algo para guardar la cuchilla que no se ocupa ya que trae 2 , me gustó mucho sobre todo el color uva.
This device (Philips MultiChopper) comes with US plug and needs a converter because it is for the US market and voltage! There is NO WARNING about this in the product description, and the voltage displayed in the description is 220 Volts — but the product label on the actual chopper says 120 Volts. So while the chopper is amazing, and I’ve been meaning to buy it for a long time and am super happy I finally have it — be prepared to have to buy a converter (not just an adapter plug) in addition to the appliance.
Love this, works great on white or yellow onion, celery, red pepper, carrot. Comes out fairly dry, not wet, which is good. Makes short work of a tedious task if you have a large or small amount of vegetables to chop up for soup or other things.Chops finely. Green onion was the only thing I found that didn’t do well in this.Definately worth buying.
Received the appliance and saw the rating for 120V – not compatible with Singapore supplies at 240VNo wonder all the reviews complain that the device dies after a few uses.No point really for Amazon to ship USA electrical appliances to Singapore unless it can recommend some suitable voltage converter!
I am fan of Philipps product they are ergonomic efficient and high quality. Thanks

During our tests, the Philips tiny food processor consistently generated broad, consistent, and incredibly rapid results. We particularly appreciate the Chop Drop basket, a plastic colander-like bowl that facilitates the equal distribution of chopped onion bits.

Although the user manual is helpful, we were able to set up the device without it. Each component fit together flawlessly, and the twist-on lock was an adequate safety measure. Measuring indications on the chopping chamber is handy when following a recipe. It includes two blades, one compatible with the Chop Drop basket since it chops from above, and the other chops closer to the chamber’s base.

A minor disadvantage is that there are no ON or OFF buttons; to begin food processing, users must press down on the top of the multi-chopper, which means you cannot walk away while it operates. Nevertheless, this model is quick and effective in chopping, so this was not a significant concern during testing.

11. Proctor Silex Mini Food Processor 1.5 Cup

Proctor Silex Durable Electric Vegetable Chopper & Mini Food Processor for Chopping, Puree & Emulsify, 1.5 Cup, Black

User reviews

Excellent product, lasted about 2 years with regular use. I really liked this device. I have had it about 2 years. it is a good size, easy to use and easy to clean. It is particularly easy to open, give a quick stir and re close. about 1 year in a tab broke off the base . it was still functional. The other day the top of the blade assembly, where it connects with the cover melted down and got stuck in the top. It is not worth buying replacement parts as the device total cost is $18.00. So I bought a new one. It has served me well in many different applications in my kitchen for 2 years, well worth the $18.00.
Super handy and easy-to-use. I love this, it is so easy-to-use, easy-to-clean, easy-to-store, and perfect for one or two people but can accommodate more if necessary but I plan to get the 3.5 cup or 4.5 cup for back-up. Replaced my 10 cup, since I don’t cook for large groups now, I don’t need such a large chopper or processor. Good quality, as described, takes up small space so easy-to-store, great value for the money and a real joy to use. Would definitely recommend for one person.
SKIP THE OTHER MANUFACTURERS AND BUY THIS ONE FOR A DOLLAR OR TWO MORE. For years, I bought a brand name product that is very similar to this Proctor Silex chopper/dicer at the Dollar General store. Amazon has the same product available here for a $1 or $2 less. I went through at least 3 of the other brand slicer/dicers in about the same number of years (they even “improved” their design). I also had to return one because it did not work at all (something which raised eyebrows and resulted in me getting some dirty looks – but I figure even if it was just $15, the thing ought to work when you take it out of the box). SO SKIP THAT BRAND! This Proctor Silex is wonderful! It is much easier to align the container, blade, and top — it is so easy that even when I am not awake, I can’t screw up the alignment). The other GREAT thing about the Proctor Silex is that it only chops once everything is together – you press down on the top – and voila. The blade is sharper than the other brand and instead of winding up with onion juice or celery juice, I get something much closer to grated onion, celery, carrot, cheese. I even used it on chopped liver (cooked) and turkey giblets. Worked beautifully. I own a 4-cup Proctor Silex drip coffee maker from the early 90s I bought second hand at a thrift store for $2 some 12 years ago. I figured it would last for a few months, so we bought back-up 4-cup drip coffee makers just in case. It might not be the most attractive appliance in my kitchen, and you do have to clean it every so often with a little vinegar and hot water, but that Proctor Silex coffee maker has outlasted every other coffee maker I have ever owned. Now, mind you – I cannot promise but I have a strong feeling that for the extra $2 for this Proctor Silex chopper/grater, you are getting the same quality! I rate this five thumbs up.
Good SMALL chopper, but weak plastic. I have a full-size food processor, and it is a pain to use, clean, and store, so I got this chopper on a lark, with few expectations, and it was a pleasant surprise!First: it is SMALL. Only half an onion at a time, and even that has to be quartered to fit! So you’ll do some hand-cutting before you can even load anything into this Proctor Silex. Once the food is in it, though, it chops up a storm! Easy to dump the cup of chopped onions (or whatever) into another bowl, and move on to the other half, or the rest of however many times you need to refill.Second: it is EASY – only four parts! Motor, cup, blade, and lid. An extension on the lid operates the switch, so it has a safety built-in. Also, the base locks into the motor. When you’re finished, put away the motor, and put the rest in the dishwasher – simple! The problem: the plastic is weak. The parts of the cup that clip to the motor broke first – one side in the first six months, the other in about two years. Then the rim around the lid cracked. One side extension (to the switch) broke at about 18 months. When the other broke, the unit became unusable.Other: The blade stayed sharp, and I used it A LOT. The motor was still in good condition – it would have been nice to just replace the cup and lid, but I didn’t see that available. Small nitpick: this thing chops one size, one style – mostly, I like it, but it would be nice to be able to make, say 1/4″ thick slices of celery or carrots – for that, I need the full-size processor. For the price, I think it’s a good bargain. I used mine A LOT, and I have now bought another (same thing) to replace it – so to me, it’s worth it! I looked at better, bigger choppers with more options, but I can still buy TWO more of this one for that price!
Small, compact, and gets the job done. Small, compact, and gets the job done! I bought this mostly for grinding pickles for my tuna salad. It easy to clean and storage. I love it!
I didn’t know I needed this until now. Used it for the first time today and I was very pleased with how it worked. It’s so much ch more convenient than luggage no out the large processor. Easy to use. Good results. Easy to clean. Easy to store away. I am glad I bought this.
Simple. I have a huge blender system and needed something small and compact for smaller jobs like making home made Acai bowls. This is perfect! Also great for small batches of chopped veggies. It’s sturdy, easy to clean and compact.
Fine Chopping. Good for chopping Vegetables and easy to assemble. Just takes time to clean and not good for large quantity.
Great product! Sturdy and easy to use. Great quality – easy to use and chops very well.
It’s a great chopper ! Works very well even with small foods such as garlic cloves, which are not easily chopped with other choppers I tried.

Factors To Consider When Choosing The Best Mini Food Processor

When choosing the best mini food processor, there are a few key factors you’ll want to keep in mind. Here are a few things to consider when making your decision:

1. Size

Size is one of the most important factors to consider when choosing a mini food processor. You’ll want to ensure that the unit is small enough to fit on your countertop or in your cabinets. If you have limited space, you may want to consider a compact model.

2. Capacity

Another critical factor to consider is capacity. How much food do you need to be able to process at one time? If you only need to process small amounts of food, a mini food processor with a small capacity will be sufficient. However, if you need to process large amounts of food, you’ll want to choose a model with a larger capacity.

3. Blades

The blade type included with the mini food processor is also an important consideration. Some models come with multiple blade options, while others only come with one. If you plan on processing various foods, you’ll want to choose a model with multiple blade options.

4. Speed

The speed of the mini food processor is also an important consideration. Some models have multiple speed settings, while others only have one. If you need to process food quickly, you’ll want to choose a model with various speed settings.

5. Price

Of course, price is also an essential factor to consider. Mini food processors range in price from around $30 to $100. You’ll want to choose a model that fits within your budget.

How to use mini food processor

If you’re looking for a convenient and easy-to-use kitchen appliance, consider investing in a mini food processor. Mini food processors are perfect for small tasks such as chopping vegetables, mincing garlic, or making pesto sauce. They’re much less bulky and accessible to store than their full-size counterparts. Here’s a quick guide on how to use a mini food processor.

  1. Assemble the food processor according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Place the food you want to chop or mince into the work bowl.
  3. Secure the lid and pulse the machine until the food is chopped or minced to your desired consistency.
  4. Remove the lid and empty the contents of the work bowl into a serving dish or storage container.
  5. Disassemble the food processor and wash all parts in warm, soapy water.

With these simple tips, you’ll be able to use your mini food processor with ease!

How to clean and maintain mini food processor

It is essential to clean and maintain your mini food processor regularly to ensure optimal performance and to extend its lifespan. Here are some tips on how to clean and maintain your mini food processor:

  1. Always read the instruction manual with your mini food processor before cleaning or attempting any maintenance tasks. This will help you avoid damaging the machine.
  2. After each use, disassemble the mini food processor and wash all the parts in warm, soapy water. Be sure to rinse them thoroughly and dry them completely before reassembling the machine.
  3. Every month or so, you should deep clean your mini food processor by soaking all the parts in a solution of vinegar and water. This will help to remove any built-up gunk or grease.
  4. If your mini food processor starts to malfunction, it is best to take it to a certified technician for repairs. Attempting to fix it yourself could void the warranty.

By following these simple tips, you can keep your mini food processor running smoothly for many years.

Best mini food processor to buy – FAQs

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best mini food processor for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. However, we can narrow down the field by considering some of the most critical factors to look for when choosing a mini food processor.

To start with, you’ll want to think about the capacity of the mini food processor. How much food do you need to be able to process at one time? If you only need to process small amounts of food, then a smaller food processor will suffice. However, if you frequently need to process larger amounts of food, you’ll want to choose a mini food processor with a larger capacity.

Next, you’ll want to consider the features of different mini food processors. Some food processors come with additional attachments that can be used for tasks such as shredding or slicing. Others offer different speed settings, which can be helpful if you need to process food at different speeds for different recipes. Finally, some mini food processors come with built-in storage containers, which can be handy for storing processed food until you’re ready to use it.

When choosing the best mini food processor for your needs, it’s essential to compare the features and capacities of different models. Once you’ve done that, you should be able to find the perfect mini food processor for your kitchen.

A mini food processor is designed for smaller quantities of food. It usually has a smaller capacity and is not as powerful as a regular food processor.

A mini food processor can be a great addition to your kitchen if you don’t have a lot of counter space. It’s also perfect for small jobs like chopping vegetables or making sauces.

When buying a mini food processor, you should look for one that is durable and has a good warranty. You also want to make sure that it has the features you need, such as different speed settings or a pulse function.

Mini food processors can range in price from around $30 to $100.

You can buy mini food processors at most major retailers, such as Target or Walmart. You can also find them online at sites like Amazon.com.

If you’re looking for a mini food processor, the Cuisinart DLC-2ABC is an excellent option. It’s affordable, powerful, and has several handy attachments. Plus, it’s backed by Cuisinart’s reputation for quality.

The Ninja QB1004 is also an excellent choice for something a little different. It has a unique design that allows it to double as a blender and comes with several useful attachments. Plus, it’s very affordable.

So, which is the best mini food processor to buy? It depends on your needs and budget. But whichever you choose, you’re sure to be happy with your purchase.
