    The instructions say to add vinegar and sweetener, but neither are in the recipe. The recipe includes coconut flour and psyllium husk powder, which are not in the instructions.

    This recipe also calls for baking powder, not yeast. I can see yeast making the dough double in size in an hour, but I can’t imagine 1 t. baking powder doing that. Don’t know if the bread machine makes a huge difference, or if the recipe is wrong. Based on the listed ingredients, I would think the texture of this bread would be more like a quick bread, not like a sandwich bread.

  6. I found this on another site: Psyllium husk powder can be used to make keto breads with a texture similar to regular bread. However, there’s no need to have a rise cycle with psyllium so the bread machine isn’t needed.

    Your recipe calls for psyllium husk powder, even though it’s not in the instructions. Maybe that plus the baking powder cause the dough to double in size like your recipe says???
